I have gotten 2 JC pattern drops that are technically purchasable via daily tokens.
The first was in ICC10, str/stam blue patern. The second was a spirit/crit pattern from one of the new heroics.
Anyone else have JC patterns drop that aren't new patterns? Heck if any new ones drop in the ICC25, anywhere to be honest, I would like to know as well.

My JC just dinged 80 so no clue yet - will update if I score any though as I'm about to hit the heroic daily then try to run non-hero IC.

What you are referring to is one of 5 guaranteed JC recipes that drop off various heroic WotLK bosses. As long as there is a JC in the party that hasn't learned the recipe yet and has the required skill level (390) these will drop.
What they are talking about in this thread are the 4 random world drops. Some of these, while classified as "world" drops, really are rare drops from certain Northrend mobs(see: Defender's Twilight Opal), while others are true world drops and can come off any mobs, whether they are in a dungeon/raid or not (see: Beaming Earthsiege Diamond).
Sorry - like I said, JC just dinged 80 - thought they'd simply made the drop rates easier or something, especially in light of this guy's post.
