New rods a little buggy?Follow

I've got the skull rod with the +5 fishing line applied to it and I've noticed that its a tad buggy. First off, the line is invisible - doesn't show up during casting nor after the bobber is in the water. Also noticed that my casts are slightly lagged - all my other poles I cast and hit water imediately while this one seems to suffer a 1-2 second delay?

What view are you in, and has it changed recently? When I'm in first-person view, I can't see my line, but when I'm zoomed out I can see it. Happens that way with all my poles. And I've always had a second or two delay before the bobber appears. Frequently I find it by mousing over and seeing the clicky-gear/wheel on my mouse before the bobber actually appears.

While I don't have a new rod, I can say that I also do not have a delay before the bobber hits the water, so you aren't alone there.

I have not got a new rod yet but even on my latest mac in dalaran where i am now getting 60fps + and no lag at all i still get a slight delay when casting and most times with fast casting i can still see the last bobber and have to wait a split second before the new bobber shows up so there is a slight delay anyway but 1-2 seconds does sound like the rod is a little buggy ?.

Most of the time I only see this problem when I have a high Ping but it seems to appear almost right away whenever I have a green Ping. As far as seeing the ling I never see it in first person but do see the bobber with no problem and have no problems at all in third party zoomed out a little or max.

Nope - I'm always at about a 45 degree angel above and behind my toon.
