For Horde, not sure. Does it work on any critter? Try the area in Howling Fjord with all the turkies (eastern part of the zone, near the little dwarven camp with the Lebowski-esque character). There are the 10 you need to kill for another achievement anyway, so just use the bites instead.

The Howling Fiord turkeys are what I used for my Critter Gitter a month or two back, and yeah, you might as well get the achievement for nuking them at the same time.

Incidentally, after I did the turkey slaughtering achievement, the weirdest bug or easter egg happened, not sure which. I zoned into a battleground a few minutes later, and was attacked there by a swarm of maybe a dozen turkey crtitters. I think they did a point of damage over several seconds, before I said “what tha…” to myself and mowed them all down with a single Holy Nova. Anyone have something similar happen?

It's a reference to the Legend of Zelda; when you attack the Cuccos (spelling?) there, they eventually get angry and you get swarmed by a flock of them that appear out of nowhere. In WoW, it also makes every critter aggressive. The effect only lasts until you log out. I thought it faded when you zoned, but I guess not!

Fly out to the icebergs off the coast of Kaskala in the Frozen Sea. One of them is teaming with 25 or more penguins. Stand still in the middle of them and just click, click, click and bingo! If you're a fisherman, you can fish Moonglow Cuttlefish in the pools around the icebergs for profit.

I guess you could also do the runaway chickens by the Frenzyheart too, but the penguins take all of ten seconds (once you fly out there).

I was thinking of doing this as well...get them all grouped with the critter bites then Rain of Fire or Hellfire them all. I tried the turkey thing a couple of times before and failed.

If I remember correctly its just off the road as you head south to New Agamand. Around the intersection where the road heads into the Explorers League Post. Check out the map.

I have been continuously running every daily I can get my hands on until I reach the limit of 25 dailies. I have gotten the cake (actually got this during last year's Valentine's day event), and just last week I finally got the first of the four baby crocolisks from the fishing daily.

I am missing only one recipe to the 160 recipes to complete the Chef de cuisine Achievement (In French, only the first ord of a title is capitilized). I have a choice: Dig Rat Stew when 3.1 comes out, or try to find a group to run BWL to do the Chimerachops quest line.

Gee, which one will be easier, I wonder?

I have enough Dalaran Cooking Awards saved up to either keep me stocked in Northrend Spices for life or to buy a really epic recipe that may or may not show up in 3.1.
