Hello everybody! I'm just starting to level my alch and have a couple questions.

1. Are there any new guides for leveling the skill? Updated of course to skill 450 for WotLK.

2. What skill level do you get the xmutes for the "new primals", essences I think they're called?

3. Is there a list of the discoveries for Northrend Alchemy Research? Can you still make discoveries by grinding out pots or no?

4. Are there any good money makers out there? I know we used to have xmute: primal earth to water from the sprogar rep. I need some cash!!

Thanks in advance for the responses, I've been contemplating this stuff for weeks and finally just decided to post.

Hi, I'm in the same boat as you are kinda; just switched to alchemy on my druid yesterday. I don't have a lot of info on the skill off the top of my head, but I did come across this leveling guide, which I was using in part to raise my skill.

In general I've been using mainly healing potions and agility elixirs to lvl the skill, along with the occasional other item i can sell for more then a couple of silver.

As for noteworthy money makers, frost oil has been really over-priced lately, on my server at least; I know of a few engineers who are dying to make their own snowballs when the holiday ends...
