450 Skinng Skill at 70.. a bug/exploit?Follow

Yo,
So last night I was trying to "cheat" and get my self (lvl 70 Hunter) up onto the Blimp-Ship-Thing in Ice Crown (Horde ship). This sadly didn't work because being a Hunter, I can't kill my self to ghost climb the MT peak needed >.>

But anyways, as I entered Ice Crown, I stopped at the Argent Camp to go AFK for a few. When I came back I was shocked to see a Spider-guy come running into the camp. I thought I was dead, but then his aggroed changed to the Guards.

Not sure why, but my trigger finger smacked the attack button..and I was on my way of doing very poor damage to the lvl 77 Mob (being naked, minus having my Bow equipped).
When the fight was over, I questioned on why I was able to loot the body... I didn't tag the mob, and I did very little damage.
So I loot the corpse, some frost- whatever cloth (I'm new to WotLK) and some other junk.

And then I can Skin it. My skill was 375. The Neubain's (sp) corpse was orange to me. So yay! free skill up!

So I run out of the camp and see the spider-web covered bodies, lvl 1.. heck why not.. I'm gunna die many times any way.. why not see what is in side? Crack it open, and out pops a BE. Ok, ok. Aim at the next..and out pops a Neubian. O_O
So I run back to town, hoping the Guards pick it off again.
And just to check if I could loot again, I send an arrow into it's head.

Guards drop and I can loot, and skin.

So I proceed to run out, tag in-coming Neubians and hit the Web-Corpses. Run back into the camp and have the guards do the dirty work while I alter back and forth doing my weak damage (just to make sure I hit the mob).

Loot, skin, loot, skin... about 30min later I hit capped skinning. 4 or so stacks of leather, an Artic Fur, and some other junk to NPC to re-buy my arrows.

So... is this a bug? Should I let Blizz know? I don't remember being able to get help form NPCs in Outland and Old World and still be able to loot, unless I did the most Damage (usually holding hate).
I'd hate to get ban because I was trying to get around one rule, and maybe broke another?

If it is clean... all you LW/Skinners or Skinners/Other, you can max skinning out at 70.
Can get small EXP, some cloth + drops and leather. Goods all around ^-^

My level 63 DK is pushing 400 skinning and he hasn't left Hellfire yet. I was really surprised how easy it is for him, I don't recall it being so for my Rogue.

I went up to Zul'Darrak to farm the First Aid book for heavy frostweave and found a little camp that would help fight the trolls. I was able to loot and got my book within the first 10 kills at 400 First Aid.
