it depends.

Server to server it will vary widely.

Are you power leveling 1-450 in an hour, or are you power leveling over a few days?

check your server and get your own pricing.
there are plenty of guids that list a pretty good estimate of the number of stacks and of what you will need. take this info and multiply it by your server prices, then you have your cost.

the faster you want to power level, the more expensive it will be since you are paying a premium to have the mats ASAP instad of waiting for a better price.

Don't bother buying the easiest stuff. A few runs of VC, SM, etc will yield the cloth you need for linen, wool, and silk. (Hit up SFK for possible twink drops and wool.) Probably save you a few hundred cold, but cost you about 3 hours.

After that - buy the mage weave, rune cloth, and netherweave -

Like it was said above - It's really server to server.

On my server NW was selling for about 6-9G per stack.

I powerleveled from 1-327 for about 350g. Had some extra cloth in the bank, but not a ton. Probably would have cost 400g. Depends on the server. I'd say mageweave is the most expensive. If yo have an 70+ you could farm ZF, drops like crazy there.
Now 327-450, no clue. Alot more, Frostweave is like 40g right now. This was on my 56 priest so I'm in no rush to get that high yet.

Mageweave is the big pain. I farmed a lot of it in Tarnasis near the dunemaul (I think) ogres in the south.

Getting to 450 tailoring will take a significant amount of money and cloth, especially just from 350-450 when you can start using the frostweave cloth (goes for about 40-50g a stack on my server right now, and you will need A LOT of it).

There is never enough frostweave.... You'll also need lots of infinite dust. That's going down, but it's still not cheap. I am at 442 tailoring. Fortunately, if I get enough cloth, I can buy the dust and break somewhat even from the bags. They are green now, I don't see me getting to 450 with them.

Yep, so I lvled it in one night took maybe 5 hours? I followed a guide 1-425. I spent a little over 6k that includes the Epic flying carpet, I dropped herbalism. I think it was worth it in my book, since I have mining also at 450. and I couldn't track mining and herbalisim at the same time so that was kinda useless. thx for help.

Congratulations.

I bought some of my frostweave on the way to my epic flying carpet. Hopefully I'll ding 77 this weekend so that I don't have to go back to shat anymore just to use it.
