Managed to get up to Dalaran around day two or three of the xpac coming out and I've yet to see this cooking daily - anyone know if it's even live?

I did it once the other day but that was the only time I've seen it. Mostly it's been the Convention at the Ledgermain quest that keeps popping up on my server.

OK, well at least I know its in there somewhere - just gotta wait for the RNG to give it to my server then.

Last night on burning legion, Mustard Dogs was the daily.

I had to make 4 rhino dogs and grab 4 wild mustard. Luckily the JC daily was proto-drakes so I flew up to Storm Peaks and knocked both out on the same trip.

Yeah, I've seen it a few times on Nordrassil, it's in the game for sure.

Finally kicked in today on my server - lol - and here I thought I was the only idiot waiting with baited breath. I managed to score my first two mustard plants without issue but then the whole city was crawling with chefs frantic for the daily.

With that finally out of the way I only need four more recipes to get my chef title and I'm already two badges towards the 12 needed meaning that if I have absolutely crappy luck, at worse I get chef status in ten days.

Woot!

I am wondering if level is involved. I have had all of the dailies several times but no mustard dogs. I have made Rhino dogs but only at 74 with Chef Alcattle.

It's been sewer stew for me. Granted I did miss a week while traveling for Thanksgiving, but I don't think it dropped then. There was a lot of yellow flashes at the sewers inn when I was turning in that sucker.

And, of course, it was after 3 STRAIGHT DAYS of the Lagermanwhateveritisthattakes12chilledmeats.

3 days striaght? 36 meats? ugh. ugh and triple ugh.

The convention for me. I've done all the cooking dailies but one.

how exactly do i cook rhino dogs? I do not have a recipe for them in my book, and the only recipe i found on alla was one that cost tokens from the daily.

should be able to buy it from the trainer in Dalaran. Level 70 and cooking 350 I think, Rhino Dogs

Mustard Dogs finally dropped on Azgalor, lots of hits on Our Daily Bread that night. Funny how many people do dailies right as they turn over.

Yeah we had that yesterday. I took the quest, rode around Dalaran looking for mustard herbs, and got disconnected... 20 tries later (over a period of 5 hours) I still couldn't log that character in, all my other characters were fine, but Dalaran seemed to crash me out (I'm thinking too much heat on my poor connection).

Hopefully I get to do it today, or at least log in long enough to fly the Hell away from there. I missed out on last night's jewel crafting daily as well, so I am NOT a happy panda. I did play on another character, but right now the one I wanted to play was unavailable. Smiley: banghead

I don't think it was your connection. I was having the same difficulties. I only had problems logging into my character that was in Dalaran.

2 days later, same problem... I sent a ticket and the GM teleported me to just outisde Orgrimmar and told me that removing Quest Helper will resolve the issue.

I had already disabled all my addons, but just to make sure I logged out, deleted QuestHelper from my addons folder, and hearthstoned back in to Dalaran. I managed to make out of the Horde inn before I got logged out again... Tonight, I'll be copying my WoW folder (nice to have a backup anyway) and deleting the WDB WTF and Addons folders. Let's hope this works, because as a chef and a jewel crafter, I really need to move around Dalaran to take/do/deliver the dailies.

Yeah - questhelper screws me up too - make sure to turn it off before you log out of Dal and you'll be fine.

I had that one like the second or third daily cooking I got. Never seen it since and there are a few daily cooking quests I still haven't gotten yet.

PS it's not baited breath, it's bated breath. unless you do have a bad breath that smells like bait. ;)

Just an update, nothing worked, no addons, deleting WTF and WDB, using the repair tool, having a GM handhold me, nothing.
I think it might just be my poor connection that's choking on the massive data in Dalaran. If this is the case, I think it's hopeless, I can't do the cooking dailies or the JC dailies... Annoying to say the least.

Just so the rest of have a reference point. What are the specs of your computer. I know low memory caused problems in Shat, and I see it lag in Dalaran, even with 2 Gigs.

Some people did have problem in Dalaran when they have Quest Helper addon.

if that was disabled (and all addons should be to rule out problems), it is most likely your computer is choking. I have AMD x2 5000, 3 GB RAM, plenty of free disk space (WOW installed on newer 640GB SATA drive), and 512MB 8800GTS and I get s-s-stuttering v-v-video in Dalaran and at time it takes me a good minute or 2 before I can even see any player or npc.
