so I've been an engineer for close to 300 levels now. And I still don't know exactly what Seaforium charges can do. can anyone let me in on this? What do they open?

eet blows doors up. why didn't you just search "seaforum charge" instead of making a thread

yeah, see, ever think that maybe "opens doors" is a little _too_ vague?

o-boards were more helpful than that.

Doors. Lower one can open the sealed door in SFK, the near-300 ones can open the doors inside BRD, DM, and the entrance to scholo. The only useful one IMO is the entrance to scholo since the quest is a pain (without help). Especially since the cap is now 70 and you only spend a short time around level 60.

Locked chests as well. I don't know whether they can be used on lockboxes...

I understand your frustration. I would like to see a list somewhere of what lockpicking skill is required for each level of locked door, locked box, or locked chest, and what level the various blacksmithing keys (silver, gold, truesilver, arcanite) and engineering charges can open. I don't know of any such list however.

Can seaforium really be used to blow open chests? I'd heard they can't. I guess that's something to look into!

I'm actually working on a list of what keys can open what boxes. I'll have to post it when I'm done.

No charges can NOT open chests. Read the description. It says "doors" explicitly. Here, I'll even link an example for those who don't believe me.
