Now that you can respec to weaponsmith (im currently an armoursmith) I am kind of tempted to do it. However obviously you need to do one of the quests to become one the specialists such as hammersmith.
My question is as all of the specialisation questgivers give the quest to any old blacksmith without doing the path of the weaponsmith first is it possible to become for example a hammer smith by doing the quests in reverse order?
I.e could I take the quest to become a hammersmith from the woman in Winterspring gather the quest item and bank it then when I have time do the path of the weaponsmith then turn in the hammersmith quest?

The only reason I am thinkign this way is cause very soon I need to go into Strath to get my epic pally mount so could do this at the same time. Hence if I have the quest item to od the hammersmith quest savely tucked away when I decide to go weaponsmith I can just blast straight through without going to strath a second time.

I know it sounds a bit mad but I just wondered if it was possible and if anyone had done it?

Cheers

I think you don't need to go into Strat anymore to do the weaponsmith specialisation anymore. Just go to Everlook in Winterspring and visit the NPC that formerly gave the quests and you can just choose whichever specialisation you want, no further quests needed.

Hope this saves you a headache :)
