I just recived my first socketed iten yesterday and got the jewels from a vendor.
My question is:
1 Do i have to find a jewelcrafter to socket the jewels?
2 Does socketing require a skill level or can all do it?
3 does the different jewels reguire different skill level?
Sorry if it has been posted before but cant seem to find any information about it. If so please show me the way to it!

2. i dont think so, i had a socketable item at level 62 and i did it just fine.
3. anything that i have seen i do not think the jewels require a particular skill level.
Tips:
the Vendor jewls are nice in a pinch, but the jewels made by the crafters of that skill are much better.
go to the AH, select tade goods and select at the top, uncommon and scroll through the stuff to find what you like. eventually you can get an idea of which ones you like and just search for the name.
as far as actually socketing the gem, read the tool tip on the armor peice; "Shift + Right click to socket and item"
load in the gems you like, click "socket gem", and youre off and on your way.
