Well, decided to fly up and check out Skettis. It looks neat, but there's no mobs yet. There is fishing, a new type of school, "Highland Mixed School." I had just noticed there was a cooking recipe I hadn't seen for sale back in town off the Trade goods merchant for Spicy Crawdad. It is a recipe that is actually orange for my 365 cooking, gives 30 stamina and 20 spirit for 30 minutes. Can fish up the crawdads from these waters that can only be reached by flying.

It's tough fishing too, for my level (323) but I have a good pole and aquadynamic fish attractors. Lot of fish get away.

But Lo, lucked out on one of my first casts and nabbed a blue:

Mr. Pinchy
BOP
Requires level 55
Use: Speak with Mr. Pinchy and be granted a wish!
Maybe something good.... maybe something bad....
Mr. Pinchy does not know!
3 uses, on a 2 day cooldown

I was nervous about something bad, but went and asked for my first wish... and received a Magical Crawdad pet!

Curiosity got the better of me, and I checked thottbot, which seems to have data mined more Mr. Pinchy info: http://www.thottbot.com/beta?s=mr.+pinchy

I'm glad Blizzard is adding fun things like this to fishing, and hope they do more like it! After seeing that buff I might get, may wait on my next wish for a special occasion. ;)

Now I'm going to have to get a new pet for my hunter. I took a pygmy tide crawler and named him Pinchy. :(

Yeah! Another non-combat pet! And one I have to fish for? That is, in a word, AWESOME! I can't wait!

I so love this idea. The only drawback is that we have to have a flying mount to get there. I wonder if those are the only waters we can fish up the pet in.
