Herbalism beyond 300?Follow

#1 Dec 22 2006 at 10:06 AM Rating: Decent
Can someone confirm for me what is the highest level I can reach in Herbailism?

I thought it was 300 but I've seen a few sites that mentioned you can get trained by a master trainer up to 500 although they didn't list the location of the trainer.

Thank you.

Currently the limit is 300. The level raises in increments of 75, so when the expansion is released in a few weeks, the new limit will be 375.

OK. Thank you.

Taurens get the Cultivation racial trait which gives +15 to herbalism, allowing them to have up to 315. But--unlike skinning--all (current) herbs can be cultivated at level 300 anyway, so the racial use is mostly just for leveling.

As for level 500, no. Thermalnoise is right about the expansion though.

Is there a certain level requirement to be able to get to the outlands? Because I was level 43 and had 300 herb. Now, I'm half way to 56. Level requirement or suggestion before traveling to the Outlands?

The critters on Hellfire Peninsula are 58-61, with a few skull level wandering stompers. You should be OK going there at 58 - just pick and choose your targets instead of trying to kill everything that moves. ...and remember to run for cover like crazy if the ground starts shaking.

Actually, to be more specific, I believe 58 will be required to go through the dark portal (or atleast it was going to be last I heard it talked about on the Oboards)

I don't see why there would be the need for a restriction. I made a level 1 run to Cenarion Hold in Silithus on a dare (although I was level 3 from discovering new places by the time I got there). Realisticly, you should be high enough that your aggro radius doesn't exceed your capacity to survive, and L58 seems about right.
