so far ive gotten the /cast fishing part down, but id like to know if theres a way to make a macro that equips the fishing rod?

btw, i realzied that i spelled rogue wrong, i typed it quickly. please dont give me grief, i get it enough from my guild lol.

I dragged the fishing pole to an action bar. Clicking on it equips it. I also dragged my weapos there. clicking on them unequips the rod and equips the weapon.
Search for an add-on called - Fishing Buddy. :)
