Engineering spec? What to take!Follow

#1 Nov 15 2006 at 8:56 AM Rating: Good
I'm a level 60 hunter, and I've just started leveling up engineering. I'm planning on PVPing a LOT with this guy. I was thinking that gnomish engineering might be the way to go for things like the net gun and mind control cap. What do you all think?

Edit: Sorry. I somehow completely missed the sticky that had two entire pages devoted to answering my question. I'm an idiot! =)

Some info has changed since the sticky, and being I am one of the blowhards who went back and fourth to help develop it.... just saying that the MC hat has been nerfed since we made that post, and the newest patch made it even worse(it will never ever run full time vs a player), and remember net gun is BOE so you can buy one, even if you are a goblin duer. The biggest downside to goblin IMHO is the gip you get on transporters.... Who needs a ride to everlook? O wait, guess it is ok for alliance.

You can always do what I did. Both.

I leveled to 225 and chose gnomish, then made all the trinkets. I then dropped Engineering and releveled it to 300 choosing goblin for the expendable items. Not as hard as I thought. At level 48 it only took a day and about 40g.

Good Luck to you!
