Really Simple noob enchanting questionsFollow

Open your spellbook and look on the General tab. There is a button for Disenchanting now in addition to Enchanting. Click the button (You can drag it to your action bars for quick access) and then click on the item in your bag you want to disenchant. It will open a Loot window and you can "loot" your dust/shard/essence from it.
