DI shoulder plansFollow

Sorry to bring this here, but I'm completley lost and cannot the plans in BRD. Up till now, I only found 1 spawn of plans, the one near the golem boss and those were always DI mail plans.

Can anyone tell me where to find These plans? Either a guide, or some screenies would help. There are supposed to be several spawns of blacksmithing plans.

TheOtherSite (thottbot) comments suggest the following:

Ok you know the room with the Shadowforge lock
that you have to open to get to the Bar(grim guzzler).

If you go up the stairs in this room and as soon
as you get into the next room(which is the east garrison) look to your immediate left. Right at the corner of the room behind a Fireguard lies
the plans on a shelf.

I can't vouch for the accuracy, though. It was posted only 10 days ago.

I did try that on every run (read it there as well), but like I said. Never found any other plans except the ones at that boss. I had about 4 runs with my guild just to find these, with no luck so far. The 2 smiths who already have it are on vacation, so I'm clueless.

I'm looking for these as well, and I thought I found them once - unfortunately it was the end of the run and I died trying to sneak in and get them (the joys of being a non-stealthable paladin!).

OK, so someone mentioned the Shadowforge Lock room, when you go up the stairs. This is where I saw plans, but not on the left as you come up. In the 'middle level' where you go down to Angerforge, if you're facing in Angerforge's direction they're on the table to your right (past the staircase). In addition to the mobs inthe middle of the room that you have to fight, there's a fireguard and a couple elites guarding them.

Now I only noticed them once, so I'm not sure of the spawn rate.

I've seen blacksmithing plans spawn in five different places in BRD, but only in one of them each run, and I have had runs where I didn't see any at all and suspect there may be more spawn points. When they do spawn, they have one of several different plans, the Dark Iron plans that Lokhtos Darkbargainer does not sell - Dark Iron Plate, Dark Iron Shoulders, Dark Iron Mail, and I believe the weapon plans Dark Iron Pulverizer and Dark Iron Sunderer - possibly others. The five spawn points I have seen are:

1. On the upper level of the Shadowforge lock room - if you are going up from the lower level, they are on one of the shelves in the corner of your room to the left at the top of the stairs. If you are coming up from the ring of law, they are in the corner diagonally to your right.

2. In the manufactory - there is a small workbench to the right of the opening which leads to the Grim Guzzler which sometimes has the plans.

3. Also in the manufactory, the plans are sometimes found on the shelf just to the right of the opening into Golem Lord Argelmach's room.

4. In the room with General Angerforge, as Bikuti said, they can spawn on the shelves in the corner with the three humanoids opposite the side the stairs come down.

5. In the large room of Golems and Arcanasmiths(?) just beyond Ambassador Flamelash and just before the seven ghosts room, they can spawn in the corner to the right at the base of the ramp as you enter the lower part of the room.

It never occurred to me that each separate spawn point may have a unique pattern - if possible, that would explain why you always find the same pattern in the spawn that you find next to Argelmach's room.

I've never noticed plans where FenrirSulis puts them, in the small anteroom between the stairs to General Angerforge and the ramp down to the Manufactory - if it's there, that would be a sixth spawn point.

Any others?
