LEthereworking Spec questionFollow

#1 Apr 17 2005 at 5:02 PM Rating: Decent
i hav 191 lether on my elf, when i got to get master working at 255 does that preclude me for tribal/dragon/elemental because ive noticed that master level has dragon scale recipies

also as a hunter these are the prority of stats ive fgured by my 37/38th level

AGILITY: critics and major portion of my POWER
INTEL: More mana for special arrows
Spirit: Mana regen
end: health
strength: a little more power

thus agility is my main concern it is my most important stat followed by intel.

At 40 i can use mail so whats best for me to persue

Elemental has agility buffs but does it count as mail?

if i wanted to craft myself the best armor i could for my level shoud i dump letherworking for mining/smithing since well they go beyond mail

if the best i can do is mail and i want mail with +agil what shoud i do?

LLX,

Master leather working is just another step for you. Nothing happens to your skill that will stop you from getting tribal/dragon or elemental. You can event take the wild leather crafting and I would recommend you do so.

As a hunter you'll find that like most of it you have your own style.

I choose dragonscale as I enjoy the look of it. Any of the other trades are also valid.

Tribal working is of no use to you, I do this, and mostly help out the rogues and druids in my guild, since it is all leather. You will be wearing mail at 40 and want to keep it that way for most all your gear.

Elemental leatherworking is okay if you want to make your own stuff, but again, more for rogues and druids.

Dragonscale is more for the shamans in my opinion, seeing the bonuses, and not for hunters.

Find a good armour smith and keep an eye on the ah, this is where you will find the gear best for you.

You can make money with any of the 3 leatherworking jobs though, and skinning can make you easy money as well.

are theyany agility armors that a smith can craft?

Monkey is agi/sta, and tiger is agi/str.

I don't know if smiths can craft these. I can only speak from expiernce as a leatherworker. We get a set of wild leather pieces that end up being random types of leather. This leads me to belive smiths would have the same, but not truely sure.
