Artisan Engineering for Alliance?Follow

#1 Mar 01 2005 at 9:37 PM Rating: Decent
This sites lists same person for both Horde and Alliance Artisan engineering:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/mob.html?wmob=8736

Is this correct or is there an Alliance person too?

Also, how do I get above 240, must I go to him in above link?

Thanks.

I found out first hand, the answer is yes, same guy for both Alliance and Horde and he will train you up above 240.

The same little runty dude trains Artisan Engineering in Gadgetzan. A small warning tho. Like Alchemy and the other tradeskills... your recipes wind up being dropped off L45 to L60 creatures beyond 250 skill. Start camping that AH or killing in Un-Goro crater to find those rare plans. They're not normally available in stores.

Yes, it is the same trainer. He is a goblin, which is a neutral race that horde and alliance can both talk to.

for engineering past 250, I just did the mithril gyroshot bullets and sold em to my hunter friends. When I hit 275, I started making thorium widgets and thorium grenades (sell from the engineering supplies guy in ironforge). I am currently at 285, waiting for a copy of the thorium bullets to appear on the AH. Those are a cheap recipe to run to 300.

Just fyi people tend to call the last level of crafts "Artisan" but that is the 3rd stage.

I read you post expecting this guy to be a "Artisan Engineer" like you title suggest but he is a "Master Engineer" and will not train people in the ways of Artisan Engineering.

This is a common mistake allot of people make.
