I'ma alvl 154 enchanter and plan on getting to 300. My server is Shadow moon.

I just want to get an idea of what other enchanters charge for your sevices. i'll put up a few of my prices but this is more of a way to try and set a standard price for most enchantments. i have been told my prices are high but i still make sales so.

well here they are:

+2 beastslaying 70s (red glow seems to be popular)
+20 armor cloak 70s
+3 spirit, stamina, strength... 1g each

thats a few of mine.

Alornae 28 druid (shadow moon)

The enchanters on my server charge according to the amount the items were worth they had to disenchant or buy to make the item. A few were trying to charge way to high and their names quickly became mud so keep that in mind :)

I can pretty much tell you that the only reason you got sales was because those people didn't have any idea of the real worth of the enchants.

I, too, am on shadow moon, so market prices of items will be the same for you as those I've purchased from.

I've paid 10s for +2 beastslaying
I've paid 60s for +50 cloak armor
I've paid roughly the +stat x 10s for most lower level stat buffs (3 agi 30s)

1g for +3 of any stat is rediculous. That might be just my opinion, but I certainly would never pay that. Base your prices on the cost of materials and you find yourself a decent market.

Take the base price of materials and then add some static amount based on what you think your time to perform the service should cost. Obviously apply some other multiplier or static number based on the quality of the buff.

Obviously this won't always work. And you should always keep other peoples' sell prices in mind.

What you need to understand is that not many people are going to pay more for a stat buff than they paid for their armor. Especially when that armor is getting vendored in a few levels.

You need to make it seem that the cost justifies the buff as being expendable.

To be a good tradesmen, keep an eye on other peoples prices. Take the highs and lows and get comfortable somewhere in between.

Offer reduced prices on buffing multiple items at once.

Always go _somewhat_ higher on items that can't be buffed by armor kits. Especially cloaks, weapons, and bracers.

I think its important to note that most + stat enchants don't take shards which are the rarest ingredients for enchanters. Anything that takes dust and essence is pretty easy to come by, not necessarily cheap at higher tiers but never difficult to get.

Almost all weapon enchants take shards, and at 225 enchanting right now, Large Glowing/Radient shard has yet to happen for me, with only 5-8 small glowing shards and 2 small radiant shards so far. I even have a guild supplying me with tons of drops that have yielded nether essence, vision/soul dust so its not for lack of trying with the shards :)

So in my opinion, when you charge +2 beastslaying (with a low number of tier one ingredients and no shard needed) at 70 silver, thats the most overpriced i've ever seen. Other weapon enchants with shards, and especially glowing shards should be up a ton. Maybe if it takes a glimmering it's 1 gold or more, if it takes a Glowing then 2g or 2.5 gold, even 3 is not over priced in my mind since they are really rare.

On the +stat enchants, I've been able to sell the +3's for 30-40s (except boots which are higher skill for some reason and they are 40-50s) and when I get up to the +5's i'm doing 50-60s or boots for 75s.

The +50 armor on cloak I price at 75s and the +3 resist all is 1g due to the nether essence needed, and because its well worth a gold anyway- +3 to all resist is just a good enchant.

I have yet to have any major complaints about pricing, and I often see several other enchanters throwing out prices that are really high.
Personally I play this game to play, and I'm going to sell my enchants at whatever price will make people come to me quickly, so I can get done with the enchanting, make some money and get back to leveling and playing. I can sell +5 stat enchants and make 3-5g in 15 min.

I would never hike up my prices to a point where I'm selling the enchants for an hour or two just to get 5 enchants sold, but thats the way I play, get stuff sold quickly because I can't stand around for 2 hours yelling and pricing just to have people walk away.

Another thing is that I'm not selling the highest stuff, so I know people are going to buy from me now, then get new stuff and buy again, i'll sell low now to get business that comes to me instead of me yelling in ogrimmar all day long for that one naive and rich customer.
Just my thoughts.
