Where the hell is fletching?
I have a 18 hunter...Almost always play the ranger type class and I'm just wondering if fletching exists as a player skill or if I am just missing something...

Could be wrong but as far as I know, only dwarf hunters can make their own ammo since they use guns (and the ammo is made by engineering). There is no fletching trade skill in WoW at the moment.

So far there is no fletching skill in the game. This is the reason that a great many people use guns. Any race/class that can use a bow can also use a gun. If you have the engineering skill you can make guns, scopes that add to damage and ammo.
