Mission 4-3 : MagiciteFollow

Airship pass... must have!

But I'm wondering if there's a reason you wrote this as Mission 4-3? Because it's actually 4-1 through 4-3, isn't it?

Anyway, when we get people, I'll FIND A WAY to be in.

I am interested though we may need to gain some levels to make us less dependent on others. Should we maybe postpone this until next week and form a leveling party this week to try and get us all to 40 first?

There is no way I could get to 40 in a week, for several reasons. First, I have to give my husband time to play. Second, thief, which is my closest and the only job I would level fast like this, isn't my main concern right now. :/

Oddly... I won't be able to play much until Monday. I'm out Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and this week is marred by maintenance.

I have no problem coming to help. It would be fun.

This entire mission can be done in about an hour with a whm to teleport, and warp/warp scrolls.

Once again, you offer to help us. I am beginning to feel like a pest. *sigh* You needn't help us. But if what you say is true, about this being able to be completed in an hour or so, I will happily shell out for teleport scrolls. The last thing we wish to do is waste your time.

Shall we set a time? Is Thursday evening good for everyone? 7pm EST, earlier, later?

Thursday is fine for me. We should all meet up in Lower Jueno. Please have the following completed, so that we can get the mission done very quickly:

Head to Ru'Lude Gardens and talk to your Ambassador. He will then give you a key item to obtain an audience with the Archduke of Jeuno. After the cutscene, you need to obtain key items to gain access to the strongholds of the beastmen.

Take the letter the Duke gave you and present it to Aldo of the Tenshodo inside Neptune's Spire in Lower Jeuno. If you are not a member of the Tenshodo you must become one before you can continue this mission. Either complete the quest for membership or buy a scroll from the Auction House. After a cutscene you will gain "Key Item: Silver Bell" as one of the three for access to the Magicite in Beadeaux. Then, talk to Sattal-Mansa and he will tell you to bring him a Quadav Charm and a Quadav Augery Shell so that he can give you the last two key items needed for Beadeaux -- the "Key Item: Coruscant Rosary" and "Key Item: Black Matinee Necklace".

Now, either fight Coeurls in Meriphataud Mountains for Coeurl Meat or buy a piece from the Auction House. Head to Upper Jeuno and talk to Baudin, who is next to a house across from the Chocobo Stables. Once the cutscene is over, trade him the meat and you will receive "Key Item: Davoi Charm".

Finally, just walk between the Armor and Weapon shops and talk to Paya-Sabya. After the cutscene, head to "Muckvix's Junk Store" in Lower Jeuno and talk to Muckvix in the back room. After a cutscene, you will receive "Key Item: Yagudo Torch."


Ok, after all that is done this is the order that we will do it.

Davoi: This is a very easy trip. Can be done in about 8 minutes, including the cut scene.

Then, we will Teleport to Mea, and head to Castle Oztjora. This is a long walk, but is very easy if everyone is sneaked and invisible the whole time. I got this one done in about 15 minutes last time.

After we get the magicite from Castle Oztroja, we will had to Beadeux. When we get there, everyone will wait by the zone, whiel I go and kill the NM mobs that drop the key items. If there is TH in the party, more items should drop. Once we have all the items, those who have them will warp back to Jeuno, talk to the Taru in the Tenshodo, and he will give you the key items needed. I will then take you into the Qulun Dome, and you will get the last piece of Magicite.

Here is what I ask of each of you:

Please, have the ability to either cast sneak and invisible on yourself, or have silent oil and prism powder. You will need about a stack of each, which would total about 14k I would imagine. The speed of this depends on the ability of everyone to take care of themselves. I don't mind if people cast on others, but know that it will take longer to get these missions done.

Also, please be ready to go at 6:30, in Lower Jeuno, with all the items. Being punctual is imperative to get this done.

Thursday sounds good to me, I have no problem with that. Just post here and let me know whats going on.

Oh my god, Credos. Seriously, you do too much. I also feel like a pest. Do I need to import some nubile young thing from afar to fan you with palm fronds? I will.

Thursday I can do. I'll do the leg work tonight, I guess, so no leveling for me. Thing is, I get off work RIGHT AT 6:30 eastern, and it takes me at least ten minutes to get home. So should I meet you guys at the first spot, with an Instant Warp scroll in hand?

I wish I could join you guys, but I don't get home from work til 6:00p Pacific time :(

I would like to join your mission too plz :) When it comes to sneak/invisible i can cast on myself and help refresh any mages who rely on these essential spells to survive these scary areas, and remove any downtime. I live on east coast and get home around 3:30. Ive heard that Castle Oz. is the "challanging" part of this mission. As soon as this great maintainance (*>.<) is over ill take care of all the necessary requisits for this 3 part mission. I cannot wait to hop on an airship for a cheap 200 gil(*;_;) instead of buying from the over priced chocobo stables.

When I give Hershai his invite he should get one to give someone else. Everybody hound him. ^^

And I'll join in on the palm fronds thing for Credo. I'm sure I can talk one of those young mithra flower girls that know the back alleys into laying rose petals before him or something. I'll just have to work the old charm...

One of our LS members, Lalinda, has reported that she would like to go as well. She's already completed the Davoi part, apparently. Looks like we'll have a pretty good group out there. I'm looking forward to it. Its not coming fast enough...

The legwork isn't that bad. Nyopo and I did ours last night in about 20 minutes or so. Just a lot of running around Jeuno. Coeurl Meat is about 400-500 gil. I actually thought I wasn't going to be able to afford it and have enough to take a chocobo home, but I just barely had enough. Time to do some more farming tonight. ^^

Besides I have to be with Cred all the time...since he may die at any time!!! (/em watches Zavia laugh)


Credpoo we are high enough now we can just kill everything in Yag castle like we did in the tower lol.

Just so that I'm sure which items i need other than the quest items. I need:

1 stack of Silent oil
1 stack of Prism powder
3 instant warp scrolls? hp set to jeuno?

We'll have to get a scroll after each mission. You can only hold one at a time. I have to remember to get mine out of Mog House Storage.

I too am going to help Dyterium... perhaps us, Zav and some other 'regulars' can form a Reserve team to take some of the helping off the shoulders of Credos and crew.

Darn I need to get to 40 so I can provide warp ii for everyone. Sorry, I haven't leveled in awhile since I need to get gil for equipment. Once I hit 40 free warps for all, but bone chip donations are accepted.

When doing the legwork swing by g-8 and i-8 in upper jeuno. It will save you some time.
