Not posted anything like this in a long time but this really pissed me off to see the classless underhanded worthlessness people display.

Was fighting Briar and, as often happens with this jerk, Meikyo got off and he killed me. While he was running from me to my healer he popped White for a sec and IMMEDIATELY this group of inbred cattle stunned and stole it. I asked to at least team up to get my friend the win, and possibly atma... they ignore and kill. Then say "Yellow is fair game".

I'm sorry, but even when I FIRST played in 2004 this was considered douchebaggery. Things don't change. Mobs go white all the time. We were FAR from wiped... there is no excuse for this. This is not some random timed NM or lottery... this is a PITA farmed key item NM and they in the end gained a few paltry items for ******** a newer player(my friend) out of a zone win.

Personally, I'd avoid anything to do with this group of scum.

If the circumstances described are accurate, and the party did not completely wipe. I would have to agree with the original post.
Do to the mechanics of the game, NMs often go yellow any time the tank dies, not necessarily a party wipe.
If "yellow = fair game" regardless of circumstance is the standard, then I feel very bad for the community.
Last night in miz we were kiting the little fish while another group was kiting the big fish. There were several times that their NM went yellow because 1 person in their group couldn't outrun a move. We could have "stolen" the claim several times but we're not jerks.
The same happened on our fish a couple times. The thf got too close and NM went yellow before the blms nuke went off. And, they didn't steal our fish. Civil behavior should be the standard, not the exception.
