Im planning on setting up a static PT from lvl 37 all the way through 75.
If you are interested please post here Or contact me in game. My in-game name is Katsurou. First come first serve basis base on the job we are looking for.
Job we are looking for are as follows:
BRD 0r WHM. NIN or PLD. THF or SAM and im gonna keep it old school with a BLM for MB.
We only meet 1 day out of the week
SAT at 1:00 PM PST
please serious players only that wants to have a steady lvling time with members that's you will know is competant on the job he/she is playing.
RDM and DRK is what me and my fellow LS member have atm.

a THF wouldnt make a very good SC partner for a DRK once you get to lvl 3 SCs lvl (dont even think that can make distortion either but i THINK slice > vb work)

I mean come on, before all these expansion, people were getting pass 54-63 w/o killing birds. Think outside of the box for once. If you would came out and say, that it's faster EXP with bird, than I would totally agree with ya and it is.
Anyhow if you are not interested, then don't post. I really didnt need any advised. Just people that is interested in the static than post. If no-one does ..oh well. I'm sure my LS member and I will find PT's and work our way to 75 one way or the other. Thank you for your concern.

well i didnt know you planned to lvl in old areas.. i figured even with a SC MB setup youd still exp in aht urghn ares for the use of sanction and its benefits.. after all if you wanna be technical its quite possible to lvl all the way through aht urghan and not fight a single colibri is you choose.

Actually, Katsuroua didn't say anything about staying out of the Aht Urghan areas either.
You specifically brought up Colibris, and Katsuroua merely mentioned people managed to level without them prior to the ToAU expansion (the gist being that it's probably still possible to level without them).
Although the notion of following a Pre-ToAU leveling route and facing monsters that actually fight back has a certain appeal.

I am tired of the anti-blm mentality. Only Colibri(Levels 63-65) are the only real stepping stone a PT will face with a Blm in the party in ToAU areas.
53-59: Lesser Colibri, no reflect effect so a blm is fine in the PT.
60-62: Puk @ Wajam Woodlands
63-65: Crawlers @ Colibri camp in Bhufla thickets OR Bibiki Bay
66-68(I think) Mt Z. Crawlers
69-75 Mix of Mamool ja staging point / The Mire

When a BLM can get 4k+ XP/hr solo and a melee burn party can get 9-12k/hr, it's easy to see why there's an anti-BLM in XP party mentality.
Can't say I don't empathize with your situation, because I hate soloing too. I did take BLM from 49-66 solo and it was absolutely boring.
