Well I decided to look at ffxiah today,looked at what my friends were doing and everything. Now I haven't played for three months, but I type in my name on ffxiah just for kicks and it comes up with a crapload of transactions.... I haven't given my acc. info out to anyone, I even had a member password up before I log into pol. If you go to FFxiah.com and see all the transactions I made, I'm shocked to see how the hell I got all that gil. I mean all my rdm gear wasn't worth that much. I even have okotes now.... It seems like the hacker is lvling ninja. If you see my character bald hume named Olau around or have talked to this person, please tell me about it, because this is ridiculous, and I am so pissed right now.
also if anyone can /tell Thebadestbigbob and ask him if he has and instant messanger, and get his username. Tell him to get on also I need to talk to him.

badbob is a rl friend of mine. he is usually online between 1-6pm pst. i'll tell him u r lookin for him.

did you quit? as in, had your character permanently destroyed? if so, the server migration that came about a while back allows players to change servers and i think change their names. perhaps its someone who migrated if your character was indeed deleted.
Thats not the case because I quit 3 months ago which was after the server migration stuff. I had never deleted my character, I really had no choice on that, I just had to quit without being able to get back on due to me not having internet for a while. Now I still can't get on (now that I have internet), because the person changed the password. Apparently they aren't using my credit card info because it was canceled, and my mom got a new card, just because I was using her card to play ffxi <_< ( lol). I also know that this is my character because I did check a couple days ago, and I saw that some of my rdm gear had been sold. Now I think it is all sold, and this person is just using my character to do transactions, and then send them to his character possibly. I have a feeling this guy has stole a lot of gil from a linkshell.
I am really curious at to how this person got my info. I mean it sort of makes sense, I had a member password up for the longest time, and took it down last week, and then put it back up a couple days ago, which was a mistake on my part, I was a little lazy, and didn't have a keyboard so I didn't feel like typing in this ridiculously long member password with a controller. In that time period that the member password was down, this person started making transactions, and now is continuing to make transactions even though my member password is currently up. See now that I don't have the cc that was originally on file, I can't change the password or anything, I just don't remember the first four, but I remember the last four, but SE is lamesauce and won't accept that. So hopefully I can get this guy out of my account and that I can actually get back into it sometime. If only I knew who it was...
If I understand what you're referring to, the member password only affects your ps2/computer, so I doubt that has anything to do with it. Anyone logging in from another machine would only have to put in your POL ID and password. Odds are it's from somewhere where you gave out your pol id/password to someone, though there's always the remote possibility of a keylogger or whatnot.

The funny thing is, that I didn't give my info out to anyone, and I don't have any third party programs, since I'm on the ps2. So really I am mind-boggled.

Hmm dunno when those 3 months were but i remember i partyed with Olau and talked to him not too long ago...
If your sure this wasnt you, change all your passwords in POL (personal/administration).
