Hi there. Citrixvi is now recruiting new members. Mainly a social LS we pride ourselves to be the fastest growing latenight N/A and Europe LS. We are working on planning our 1st LS event, if anyone is interested please apply at citrixvi.editboard.com.
Some history - Citrixvi has been in operation for 3 months. Not widely known as of yet, the management of the LS and forums are ppl who work latenights and overnight hours in the U.S.A and Europe.
When our first LS event is planned - will post. And anyone is welcome.

To add - many of our members are sackholders.
Our leaders are Spinnerflare, Sylvane, Alaha, Lazzyapunak, and Aphrodyte. Some of our other members have sacks as well, so if you want to apply please go to

Also to announce: our first official LS event is on March 24 at 6pm CST. The event is COP 1-3 which is a lvl 30 cap and COP Censors as well for money and XP.
This and all events in citrixvi are not mandatory to clear some questions up about this shell.
I hope to see some new faces, till then thank you.

I need to clear the air on a couple of ??s i got from people.
We are a all lvl shell = we try to be midgame - not endgame.
we do some endgame activitys but those are so few and far between that it may end up being once a month.
We have a Dyna shell started but it may be a couple of months till I have gill/ppl to do a dyna run.
other than this we do try to help new ppl.
Almost anyone is welcome!

We are still recruiting members = in the month of may we are planning events to get some of our lower lvl people airship passes and hopefully dynamsis access.

I have recieved some complaints that our forum webserver is recieving timeout errors - these errors are being addressed at this time. For now if anyone is having issues these are the instructions i can give u.
for information, "Request Timeout" :
TheTimeout error is an HTTP status code that means the request you
sent to the website server (i.e. a request to load a web page) took
longer than the website's server was prepared to wait. In other words,
your connection with the web site "timed out".
Resolution:
Retry
the web page by clicking the refresh/reload button or trying the URL
from the address bar again. Many times a slow connection causes a delay
that prompts the Request Timeout error and this is often only
temporary. Trying the page again will often be successful.

If you are trying to apply to Citrixvi and having issues with the website, you may forward a make-shift application (Character name, rank, level, job, what you look for in a LS and any referrals) to my email (********************** and I will post the application for you on the Citrix forums. I will also contact you in game to let you know I have done such, and contact you again once voting has finished, to let you know if you've been accepted to the LS/give you a pearl.
As I understand things, while we are a social linkshell, for the most part, we have a dynamis shell setup and lack only the numbers to be able to make that a regular event. We are also talking about starting a static of sorts, to farm sky and NM pop items, so that we can schedule those types of events with greater regularity. There is certainly a strong foundation at Citrix, and with a significant increase in membership, the linkshell could easily become a laid back social home for FFXI'ers, while providing end-game activity for the myriad high level members in an alternative shell, equipped only for events.

hey guys! ur LS sounds cool, i would like 2 join..but theres a problem.I gave up FFXI about 4 months ago and would like 2 play again, getting it this weekend (19th May). Do 1 of u guys mind getitng me a world pass when i get it? (i will post when i hav it)then when im on giving me a LS ^^ thanks.

I believe if S/E is correct about this - players are supposed to be able to world select from the menu somehow. If I am wrong - MY BAD upfront.
If not then U will have to get a world pass from your server or contact a GM about migrating a player.

Just in case if anybody in shiva is wondering we are still recruiting. for any1 that would like a casual social helpful getting into end game ls. we don't do the application procedure anymore so this is open to all levels and ranks. so if u need a kick it spot or want to get stuff done but in a chill and relax manner then come on by to Citrixvi =). sounded like a used car dealer back there =P

hi everybody. just want to give you updated news. we are transfering to a new shell called Dark Cake of Destiny and its being ran by tadieal. and we're changing it up a little bit. we are gonna be a social shell mainly, so we're in the recruitment stage atm. so if you would like a pearl please contact either me(currently sacked) or tadieal for a pearl.
