Enfeebling MagicFollow

I was wondering if you can only skill up Enfeebling Magic off Easy Prey or higher?

Being a Paladin as main and when leveling Black Mage I only focused on Elementla Magic and Dark Magic until the mid 60's. That was when I learned that Enfeebling Magic was also a big part of Black Mage, but by then my Enfeebling was way undercapped.

Does anyone know a good way to skill up Enfeebling that does not require spamming Dia in Exp parties? I do not like doing that because it waste MP and can cause to missing something else I should be doing and it is not the fault of my Exp party that my magic is udnercapped.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You could probably level off EP but eventually it'll cap off at certain level in relation to the level of the mob no different than if you were skilling up on weapons. Eventually you'd have to skill up on higher level mobs to to fully cap off your enfeebling. I know when me and the wife go farming, she'll get no skill ups on the EPs anymore, but get the occasional skill up on DC-EMs. More so on the T-VT. So in the end I would think you'd have to start skilling up on xp mobs.

As with anything where you skill up by taking an action on a mob, you can only skill up on mobs that are EM or higher to your current level. So for instance if your enfeebling magic skill was at 94, you could skill up on any mob that was higher than 33 (as enfeebling magic is a c+ skill for blm, and caps at 94 at level 33).

Since your higher Kramer you can move on to say a lv 50 + mob or so and get the big skill ups. Also just spam enfeebling magic when you go on sky hunts is another way, ORRRRRRRR the best why is to use Crystail *Cough*.

I started focusing on this in my 40s by going to Korrokola and spaming Dia and Dia2 and on worms. I also had help by leveling RDM and WHM. Worms are always easy targets - one silence and they won't hurt you, assuming you can land it.

The mobs don't have to be EP, it just depends on your skill. The higher your skill, the higher level mobs you will need, same as with elemental, dark, and divine (and healing if used offensively).

In parties, I also ask the RDM if I can do Poison2 and Blind - they are cheap spells, cast quickly, and really help your skill. Of course, sleep is the primary reason enfeebling is so important, and anytime you sleep mobs, you have the chance for skillup. Go solo some stuff using sleep/nuke method and you may get some skillups.

My enfeebling finally capped in my early 50s and I'm generally able to keep it capped by about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way through each level. Obviously, it will cap more slowly than elemental.

Simple buddy,

Find worms, barstone, silence and dia =P on your own time of course.

Depending on your level, Attowa if yer under 40, worms in the desert also, kuftal, shakrami basement got tougher worms, but not so tough. You know where the worms are ^^

At about 65-66 I went to newton. Just sleep a gob, then spam any non damaging enfeeb. Paralyze, slow, bind, gravity, blind, silence, etc. This also works for dark magic too (aspir and absorbs).
I don't know the best spot for 70 though. For 69 you could go with me to Beadeaux and kill rubies for my test ^^ :-p.

The point is, once you have sleep, getting enfeebed capped is very easy.

Well kramer, i know waht your main problem was....

Manaburning. if you do it too much your enfeebling is crap!!

been there done that... but then i learned, and after 2-3 sky farming runs of spamming Dia, blind, sleep, my enfeebling is capped.
