i was leveling in the jungles this weekend and a party of subless BLM's (save for 1 that was 30BLM/1RDM) with an anon 70WHM+ in tow came and camped on top of us for a while.

so they must have gotten some of them on our server or they wouldn't be leveling new characters up.


i was considering writing down their names, but decided against it as i know nothing would be done with the information anyway.

and prices are starting to go up again (at least on the items i was considering buying) i wanted a monster signa so i checked the history, 800k - 2mil in a week. i am SO kicking myself for not buying it when it was 800k.

yes this is something i've been noticing for a while

items i can farm to save money for the items i want, will consistantly go down in price while the item i want doubles in price every couple of weeks.

and i've found this doesn't just apply to high ticket items either

it follows what ever it may be that i'm buying or selling at that particular moment, say i have a stack of sheep leather i want to sell. 7 people will undercut me from the 30k they are going for, i try and buy a stack of dark crystals so i can synth another stack of sheep leather, and the lowest one on the AH is AT LEAST 1k over the history price.

on the high end, i did a BCNM60 recently and got a pentance(?sp) rope. history on them was 2.8 mil, i put mine up for 2.7, (there were 4 others on the AH at the time) it was returned for me, and i checked the history and the last !!7!! that sold were for 2.4 and less.

so there are my examples for both high and low end curves following what i want or have.

(btw this is kind of a rant and i don't really think the game is singling me out to ***** in every way it can find, BUT those are real examples of things that happen every day)
