ON DA SPOT vol 2, FFXI Roasting: BarchielFollow

I met Barchiel the first day I partied with him. I thought he was a complete jackass when I first met him. He was saying sh[i][/i]it like OMGWTF ROXORZ and screaming RAWR every 5 seconds. He went around humping everyone in the party when we got to camp. I think I slapped him when he humped me.

We started the party and this knuckle head was atually a damn good ranger. I thought he would proably just run up to the mobs and start humping them and we would have to go raise his ***. The party went on for quite awhile and we all talked alot during it. I think it lasted about 6-8 hours that time.

The next day I was forming a party and saw the humpo maniac lfg and decided to invite him again. Once again the party kicked *** and we got to now eachother a little better and I decided he was not only a good player, but was actually really cool to hang with as well.

We partied together almost every party through our 60's. Barchiel showed me that there is no reason to be so uptight over a game and that It was possible to relax and joke around and still kick some serious butt.

Through the 70's we did not party much, only on occasion here and there. It was not until I bribed to join me in a Sky LS that we started talking more and hanging out again. He joined me in DVSIII then followed me to Wasp. I made this RAWR *** humper a leader of a HNM/LS what the hell was I thinking?

Props to you Bar for being so laid back and cool in this game and yet being a good player that knows there is a time to focus and be a little serious.

there are like 10 people who post on here and that i have met in game whom i never would have guessed would be cool people when i first started posting/playing (and im sure the feeling runs both ways with more than a few people). its amazing that when you run into people in this game you think "man im never hanging out with that guy again" and then like a couple weeks later you're buddies with em. its a whacky world that vanadiel

I think it was a saturday afternoon.. or was it sunday, you were spewing some xbox 360 stuff (11 more days for those counting)

Well, I don't know about the Xbox 360. If you have the money, sure. But if you can only afford one new system, I say wait. 360 has a lot of hype, like everything else. When I played it, it didn't seem nearly as good as they claimed it to be. The drawrate was nice though. If you are playing FFXI on a PC, the difference won't be big. If PS2, then it will be a jump.

I plan on getting a PS3 and Revolution. Xbox360 just don't have the games for me, and I'm not about to spend my money on a rushed system. If I had the dough to spend, sure, I get a 360 also. But there is still life in my PS2 with games like Prince of Persia3, Kingdom Hearts2, FF12, etc coming out. It gives me some room to wait. The only reason I wanted a 360 was for FFXI. But I don't have $600 to spend for slightly better than PC graphics, cuz thats how much it's gonna cost ya in total.

I remember being a shy noob in Lower Jeuno and hearing and seeing people getting humped by Barchiel! I [run away] fast but one day he caught me by my tail .... well I won't say anything else [blush].

From that day I would panic at the site of Barchiel the humper.

Little did I know that I would end up in the same ls with him. o.O !

Don't let Barchiel and his sense of humpor, err humor, kid you. Barchiel is one of THE best, nicest and most professional players I have had the pleasure of getting to know: he knows his game and is a great leader......just don't get too close hehe
