I would really like to get a moldy (lol...moldy) earring for my rdm. If you need it also, or know someone who does or who can help, please leave a post here or try to catch me in-game.
I'd really try to set up a group to get this earring. High-lvl help would also be greatly appreciated.

I have a solo guide for moldavite for you.
Step 1. quite your day job
step 2. move you PS2 into the water closet(So you can play while you <GO> )
Step 3. move you refrigorator into WC aswell.
Step 4. race a job to 75
Final step/ solo the NM goblin for moldavite.

Well, I've gotten pretty good at getting the claim provided there are one or two others there to help me kill him. I'm 0/5 right now (had various people helping), and in the next week or two will focus more of my attention on getting this thing. I'm certainly willing to team up and lot for it, and I have one friend that still needs it too. My biggest downside is that I can usually only stay on for one or two spawns a night, except for weekends when everyone camps it.
Your biggest concern is that you'll want to bring your highest job, but still need to be able to cast invis while waiting for the pop. And I wouldn't be too discouraged if you don't have it before 55, especially as a RDM. I admit it sure would be nice, and I'm a little late getting mine, but I've done just fine w/o it till now. I also know plenty of high level players that weren't able to get theirs before 60+

A good thing to do is go there once on your own, note down the time it spawns and then tell everyone whos camping to be at the spawn room 1h30 later. If you get the claim, fantastic, but if not then say to meet again 1h30 back at the room. And often theres very little competition early in the morning. By what I've heard and seen, I think it pops 1h45, 2h, 2h15 or 2h30 after ToD.

Im sick of this NM. I can solo it and it is still a pain in the butt. I am 6/13 on claims and 0/6 on drop. You should feel lucky if you only have 3 other people camping against you because most of the time it is atleast 5 or more.
This NM has become the bane of my existence. Currently 7/65 on claim, and 0/7 on drop....
I can assure you it will indeed be a joyous day when it drops.
Edit: 8/69 on claim and 0/8 on drop after last night....I hate you SE.

If you know when 1st window is give me a /t in game. If I am not in a party I will go help you. Try and give me 20 min or so notice on window. I got mine yesterday with help from a LS WHM. I only poked around Onzonzo a few times to see if I could get lucky. 6/8 on claim. I was alone for 5 of them so I got chased out of Onzonzo and died once. Last claim I brought back-up and the earring dropped! Let me know if you need me.
