How rare is MNK AF2 in DynamisFollow

I realize this may be better suited for the MNK threads but I also wanted to get my name out as someone interested in doing dynamis and is approaching lvl range. Right now I am MNK lvl 66 and leveling at a pretty good pace (at least for me). I hear all this talk about dynamis and I would really like to give a try with the main intention of getting my MNK AF2. But I am curious as to how rare it is to get as some rare/ex items (not neccessarly Dynamis ones) you get once and then you are pitching them in the ton's later on in the game. Also what is the most recent expected lvl of melees in Dynamis? It used to be 68 then it was 70 and last I heard 72. Any help is appreciatied.

(Not to sound rude but lets try not to have this become another HNMLS vs HNMLS I hate you, you hate me thread, I am really just interested in the information) :-)

mnk af drop in dynamis its i guess good compared to many others from my experience. Also I don't know many public dynamises, but FullColler is one, lead by Refe and he expects lv 73+ melee. Other LSs who have own dynamis could use as many people as possible, so I'd say your best bet is to join a HNMLS that has a dynamis set up.

One thing about AF2 is that it is completely random. Some days are good while others are bad.

Dynamis Jeuno/Melee Gloves: I have only seen it drop twice. I would consider this to have a really shitty drop rate.

Dynamis Bastok/Melee Gaiters: I have seen this drop quite a few times. During my first Dynamis-Bastok, I saw this drop twice.

Dynamis San d'Oria/Melee Hose: This seems to be a fairly moderate drop rate. I have seen it drop quite a few times but it took me a few runs here to actually get a drop.

Dynamis Beaucedine/Melee Cyclas: I have been here quite a few times and have only seen two drops. Not a very good droprate. Though, BST seems to drop here often. *Snicker

Dynamis Xarcabard/Melee Crown: I have been here quite a few times and have not once seen it drop. To be honest, I only recollect PLD, WAR and BST drops.

Overall for every job, the Dynamis AF2 droprates sucks. I am led to believe that it is 100% random. It's really hard to say how rare the drops are in a word other than extremely. All I can say is best of luck and don't give up. A fellow MNK in my LS didn't obtain Melee Gloves until about his 20th run in Dynamis-Jeuno.

actualy prety rare...ive been though bastok sandy windy and jeuno dynamis twice each only seen my weapon drop(weapons are common) and gloves dropped once (<3 melee gloves) boots are ok but theres better....pants well f`ing uber body is awesome for solo... head is garbage (if you own a ohat) gloves personaly i love them i gave up okotes for them yes you give up 4 att but you get 5 eva +4 subitle blow and a second chakra enhance (4x vit heal)

Misakito.... lol

Head is not garbage, it's probably most useful part of all, simply because asuran fists doesnt get you hate... if you have experienced. and if you are a good mnk, your LS tanks should have problems keeping hate from you. so -3 enmity from the head is just a complete uberness, not for all cases. but its defenetily not garbage, the body is garbage, maybe for solo, but i'd rather use kirins osode or scorpion harness. boots in the other case are awesome for solo, cap counter with merits with boots + counterstance you wont get hit at all if you are subbing nin. could even survive with utsusemi ichi if you are lucky. but will counter A LOT. mnk af2 garbage is legs unless you dont have byakko's haidate or shura haidate.

lol apprently you havent seen the new gear from this update not to mention the stuff in the expansion ....oh or are you one of the people who cant get the ohat (or hakutaku eyes)

Dont insult me plz, I have Ohat but still shura kabuto is better to me. That 10 acc isnt needed at all, w/o that 10 acc you will hit anywayz w/o food in sky, to the meeleable mobs. Since stuff that is big u chi blast it. -3 enmity is better than 10 acc in that case, besides if its something like serket id rather use it anywayz since I and any other MNK would usually use Sole sushi, if i dont have any, then i use shura, if still sux to hit i use ohat, but dont think ohat is the best thing ever, cuz it isnt. i only use it at Ulli camp since those statues have good evasion.

My linkshell has had the monk pieces in Bastok and Jeuno drop a couple of times.

Our problem drops are ranger and red mages.

We get a lot of warrior and bard drops we don't need.

I have the gloves and boots, in my experience these drops were comparable in rates. The pants however I have yet to see, which is frustrating since either these or byakko hadiate will be my final pants.

And to avoid anyone asking yes I think byakko will suit me better than shura, oh and I don't really wanna support the OUTRAGEOUS prices the highest level woodworkers aer putting up there for divine lumber etc.

It really is not the wood workers faults. The Lumber is created from the Divine Logs which are only droped from HNM's and God's therefore the price of the Logs are high and woodworkers must sell lumber for that price just to break even.

well then I guess whoever's been selling the logs has been scumbags, since the price has almost doubled from ~3 mil to up to 6 mil now in about one months time.
