I have to say that I agree with the OP on this, I think it's very sad when people who legitimately play this game cannot claim mobs because of gilsellers and that it seems there in an increase in the amount of people who accept them and even call them friends! "Superstartwenty nine raised me once, he's so nice" "Superstareleventybillion took a mob off our pt, he's a nice gilseller" Ummmm did you ever think why they are being nice? So people will think they are and leave them alone. Being "nice" prevents mpking by someone who maybe is pissed about amenet always being claimed. You know what? I would love to claim Bune someday, I would love the chance at an enhancing sword. BUT I will never team up with the people who try to prevent me from getting claims in the first place.
I never said I ACCEPTED gil-sellers, first off. I said simply what they did, and they tend to have better attitudes towards others than most people these days.
I give gil sellers a lot of ****, I hate the fact of how much they charge for good EQ these days. People like them are what makes going up one level cost literally 30k+ for about 2-3 pieces of armor, which many can not afford.
Whether or not they teamed up, I don't know, nor do I care..
You people get your noses out of other's business because, let's face it, when it comes to claiming, or not, they prolly got it IF they teamed up, right? Hmm, well... There ya go..

If you walked past somebody, and they were dead, would you raise them if you could?
I think the reason -any- gilseller would raise you, or heal you when you're dying, or help you with a mission, etc, is that they are human too...I mean, sure they are gilselling, MPKing, spawn monopolizing ********...but they will still help somebody time to time. And not because they are trying to get people to leave them alone because if they were trying to do that, they wouldn't be selling gil in the first place. No, they do it because everybody helps each other every now and then.
Now I am not trying to say that I like the gilsellers or anything, but most people who don't like them have never had a -personal- bad experience with them outside of inflation. They just jump on the "Hate the gilseller" Bandwagon. They hear about all these things the gilsellers have done, and they know that RMT is against the SE TOS, so they tend to dislike them. Mind you, these are perfectly good reasons to dislike them. If they weren't, I would be a hipocrite for disliking the ***** and their involment in WWII.

Wow i cant believe that this thread is still going on. Im gunna say a few things and if u want to respond to my post, i wont see it or respond to it.
1. Magicwhoever and whatever the other names were have never been a part of UC. The Calia Clan had only been back 2 days when this happened. we had no idea what was going on since they play at night when most of us are sleeping/workin/school. When i came back from afk for the night and noticed i recieved a tell sayng something happened from a fellow LS leader i took action right away. UC does not team up with GSers and is in our rules stated on the ls website that u will be automaticlly removed from the LInkshell. We are not proud or happy with what the Calia Clan did by selling their Chars, but we also can not stop what we dont know.
2. Idk whoever meow w/e is, but i think i know.. If u had access to get to our website u would have seen in plain site who to contact since it states on the forum who are active leaders, and if u didnt know, u could have asked. Somehow every other LS leader knows who to contact, that was a bad reason. and if you were in the LS you would know that the website admin would not allow that post to stay.
3. as for whoever started this thread, Grow Up. There is nothing wrong with letting people know whats going on, but u should have gotten facts and info before posting. that way you would be letting the pulic know WITHOUT trying to flame people. We tried making amends with those LS's that were affected by this problem, and i personally removed the Calia Clan from our Linkshell the second we found out what was going on. You keep saying that we have not denied anything? What is there to deny, yes at that time the Calia Clan still had on UC lp's, did they team up with GSers? i guess so... Do we encourage it or even allow it... No. Were those people removed from the LS... Yes. What else is there to say? Did Myself and Vancroft spend days trying to apologize to people for it, Yes.. Did we make a posting for the world to see, Yes. Why is this tread still going on, Not to sure other than for drama purpose.

im not gonna keep this thread going forever so ill leave my input at this: im aware that UC members did team up with gilsellers. im also aware of the fact that LS leaders DID NOT CONDONE OR SUPPORT THIS ACT AT ALL. thats about all the info i needed to hear.
am completely satisfied by venetia's post. I'll never hold that debacle against your LS. as far as getting the facts straight i thought thats what this is for.
some people came in here with the "best defense is a good offense" attitude and started riping on the OP when he really didn't do anything wrong.
Your LS could have came here and posted what happened before anyone went off on there own and did it, but you didn't. You posted on your personal LS site and expected everyone else to somehow find it over there... Like I know WTF your website is and check it to see whats going on with you.

Venetia is dumb as always. First of all, I'm not going to even try deciphering her barbarian talk. Try talking in complete sentances and using some punctuation. It takes two letters to make you not sound like an idiot (use "you" instead of "u"). Anyways, moving on. The thread stopped and some moron bumped it, and if you actually learned how to read, Ayazz even got upset that the thread was bumped. So you had to respond to it and cause drama instead of letting it die. So no, Venetia, YOU want drama. I guess that's all that fat ugly girls like you can hope for in a real life. I haven't been a part of UC for months and months, and I'm not going to spend all day looking for the people. Once again, learn to read. But since you don't know how, I'll repeat myself in hopes that maybe your dumbass will understand. I have very irregular playing hours because of my girlfriend, my college education and my full time job. Whenever I get on, I look for the Linkshell Leader, Vancroft, and he is not on. On the website, I looked at who the Linkshell sackholders were, and they were not on. I wanted to inform UC as soon as I saw this post in order for someone from UC to jump in and try to stop drama before it escalated. But no, you guys acted like a bunch of little sh*ts for it. I'm sorry I even got involved and tried to help to begin with. Which makes me glad that I left such a noob LS months ago. After I made the post, you could have removed it and done something about it - I planned that would have happened. But banning me when I try to defend you in public.. that's ignorant. No wonder you guys get MPKed in Sky all the time. You think everyone is your enemy and act like asses for it. So sorry to bust your bubble, but not everyone is out to get you. You're not important, and you're not special. If you know who I am, then why don't you say so?

How could one person saying they'd team up with gil sellers to make money allow you to think that the entire LS is a gil-selling LS? We've got members from your LS in FU, Kramer. If you really have any doubts, try asking them.

. The only gilselling LS I know of is called Killers.It's np. But just for the record, we don't sell gil. We MPK.
