Experience Point Bonus ItemsFollow

#1 Sep 30 2005 at 4:15 AM Rating: Good
These items are designed to help those who wish to earn a little extra experience from defeating easy opponents, rather than for use in extended party play.

The bonus points provided by these new additions may not be noticeable at first, but taking advantage of the bonus every day will eventually make a substantial difference.

The new items will be available through the exchange of conquest points, making them accessible to a wide range of players. Talk to your nearest conquest guard after the version update and see how this adventuring accessory can help you!

Experience Point Bonus Items

Sounds kinda nifty if you ask me.

There goes my 85k of conquest points :)

I'm also really interested in seeing the stats on them and how they work.

{Hmmm} looks like Square-Enix is finally getting the clue to make this game more viable for soloing, which is one of the contrasts with competing MMOs and one of the problems many players have. After all this is almost the only game where you can't get decent EXP solo unless you are a certain job or have certain equipment (such as Bloody Bolts).

Of couse, like leveling your NPC to be a decent partner, I am sure getting these items is going to be a time sink.

If you read the thingy it says they are CP items. And as if this game itself isn't a time sink.

NPC actually works quite nicely, if only she would stay longer. I hate seeking a party from level 29-31 because it is the transition from the Jungle to Garilage. Although more people now level in Altep and the Campaign, but it is still a long wait.

I have leveled my Whm with my NPC from level 29-30-1/2 in 3 sessions in Qufim Island. I have her as attacker because she hits so hard with her scythe that I have no worries of my Whm/Nin pulling hate. We usually get Chain 4 before having to rest and the exp is pretty decent. I will keep this up until I reach 31 maybe even 32 seeing Whm is my SJ for my Blm just lvling it for 1 hour each day is enough to keep me from having a gimped SJ.

NPC seems to work unbelievably nice actually. I went the trouble of leveling up my NPC to Cap. {Yes my NPC is level 50} Only because it was fun. I could take my whm out and take on EP's to farm seals and the like. I was actually bummed when i found out i reached Cap. This new update seems very promising for what me and my NPC are able to do. First things first is give us more time. That and with these newfangled exp items could be vera vera lucrative. At low levels at least. When I take out my lvl 15 bst and call out Mugido {teh crazy Galka} he waaay outdamages my bst in straight up melee with his Great Katana. But either way thats a good idea to just take him out in Qufim w/ that level job. I've been havin a waay hard time leveling my 31 thf. Natbe we can try Duo for exp some time ^-^
