Hi all. Some of you might know me as the Galka bard that quit a little over three months ago. Well I'm back ^^ and just in time to save my character too.
I just want to say a big thank you to Bibrian. Before I quit, I gave pretty much everything I owned away to friends and to come back to a yet more inflated economy was kinda disheartening. But Bibrian, being the true friend that he is has gone out of his way to get me back on my feet again.
Now, it really saddens me to see his good name get dragged through mud on this forum. I know he hasn't posted on this forum at all but I asked him if he read the threads concerning GLLS and truthfully he told me he had. I really do admire his strength of character for not coming out publicly to defend himself. Yet another reason I'm really honoured to have him as a friend. I myself, am not quite as big a person as him and hence this thread ^^;
Now the royal cloak in question. To be honest, it was my parting gift to Bibrian before I quit the game (well kinda). I knew that he was saving up for a vemillion cloak and before I left, I left him all the gil I had and with that, not only was he able to afford a vermillion cloak, he was able to buy the HQ royal cloak. It does sadden me that he no longer has it. He told me he considered it as my legacy item to him.
He tells me now that he doesn't care if he gets it back or not. To be honest, I kinda do lol. It was my gift to him and to have someone else take it away ... well you can guess how I feel.
Well anyways, the most important thing is, I hope that everyone doesn't judge Bibrian solely on what they read here. Get to know him and if he is 1/10th the character he is made out to be here, then sure, go ahead and blist him ... at the same time add me to that list. He really is just the best person I know, and I really had to get this rant out.

All messages I added were still being hardcore rate down trolled even though its been over a week, so im editing out the neutral fact gathering posts that seem to be hated so much by the board. For all those who seem to be offended by my interest in their little drama, next time you don't want public scrutiny and questions about your online lives, don't post your dramas on the board.

Before I left, I asked Bibrian how much gil he was short on to be able to afford a cloak. He told me the amount, and I had more than enough gil to cover that amount on hand. So before I logged for the last time, I traded all the gil I had on me with Bibrian and with that gil, he bought the cloak.

I was a member of GwennsLovelyLs before it was reformed to GLLS. I was an active member turning up to as much activities as I could. I quit the game roughly the same time Gwenn quit and the ls was reformed. I have no relation to the current GLLS.

It was a Noble's Cloak that he took belonging to the ls...not a Royal or Vermillion. Different cloak.
I post this solely as a point of interest, and refuse to be further drawn into this discussion for many reasons.

Bibrian got the Noble Tunic after the LS got reformed, and we got the shining cloth from Kirin.. it was after untamed quit the games..

Untamed, not sure if you remember me from so long ago back in gwennsLS, but I'm glad that you're back and maybe you'll get pt once again with my gimped *** rng or sam! >.<

Bibrian bought his Royal cloak < note, NOT Noble tunic > from AH
and it was his own saving up plus my parting gil that made it happend. It certainly wasn't crafted from GLLS shining cloth drop or anything as such ... so if it is still GLLS's community item, then that says alot about this LS, don't it?

Untamed, I'm a little surprised you'd come back & make a post after talking only to Bib... the reason why he didn't post here was because he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
He left with the LS noble's- despite being asked to return it. One of our members that was joining the crew along with bib & thalion (as far as they knew) got bib to give him both GLLS's Noble's and Bib's Royal. That person returned the Noble's to us, and kept the Royal.
Now, before this happened, it was Bib's greed coupled with his stupidity that tipped us off that he was leaving. Out of the blue he asked if he could purchase the Noble's outright from the LS, but he didn't have the points for it- this set off red flags - after all the Nobles was his to use as long as he was active with LS events- so why was there a need to buy it?
Since the request was suspect, it was denied... so he then turned around and requested to convert his points to gil to buy HQ staffs for his SMN... the job he chose to level over coming to LS events after he received the Nobles- so there was the second red flag.
The saturday that he was finally kicked, I was leading a God's run & he asked to lot on a zenith abjuration- which I allowed him to do (since I was not aware of the situation of them all leaving...). Then he asked to lot on Kirin's pole after it dropped... however, at this time Fsst & the other sacks that knew what they were planning were on & promptly kicked them from the LS.
A week or so later was when he lost the Noble's and his Royal... non of which would have happened had he just been upfront about leaving the LS- instead of trying to obtained as many items as he could before leaving.
So, go ahead & praise him all you want- he's clearly beyond doing any wrong in your eyes- just try not to slander our LS when you haven't been playing for the past three months & are completely out of the loop in terms of knowing what happened.
Read other threads on here if you want more details- there was about a week or so period when those threads were at the top of the list all the time. If you want to ask myself or other's about it feel free to in game... I think virtually everyone reading these boards has tired of the topic.

Oh well, he is still a very good friend of mine, and I guess what he did was wrong. But still, you guys got your Noble's back so have a heart, and return him his cloak. I was told that on the recent S&F dynamis run, Bibrian was made to pass on AF2 body for whm even though he won the lot. This was really the reason that got me worked up. I didn't really want to beat a dead horse. On reflection this was what I had done and I do apologize for this. Imma close this thread now (should Alla have this function).

Perhaps because they put that person in an undesirable position & they felt it was due course... or because Bib got yet another abjuration despite his intentions of leaving... Yeah, yeah, 2 wrongs don't make a right, but if bib had been upfront with his intentions it wouldn't have happened.

I find it amusing that he considered that Royal Cloak your legacy item to him

had it in his bazaar comment, i knew brian longer then you did, i knew him since
he was a level 20 or 30 thief who didn't know **** about this game, i helped him through many times, and what did i get in return,? a stab in the back and a kick in the ***, brian is only interested in what benefits him that is why he was your friend.

That has nothing to do with the GLLS thing,that happened because of the S&F lot-rules,he wasn't active enough to lot on it.
