Hi, I was wondering if anything can be done with regards to gil farmers? Are GMs able to do anything? On Phoenix, there is a person I'm pretty sure is a gil farmer because he admitted to me that he was. I'll try and recall our conversation the best I can because it was a week ago.

While I was farming in the same area...
<him> Are you a player?
<me> Player?
<him> Do you play the game or are you (something in regards of being a gil farmer)
<me> No, I'm a player.
<me> Are you a gil farmer?
<him> Yes
<me> Where are you playing from?
<him> I'm from China and you?
<me> US
<him> yay!, I like American movies.
<me> How long do you usually play?
<him> 12 hours

few minutes later he /tells me again
<him> Your the first American I hate.
<me> Why?
<him> Because you kill things I kill.

Mind you his responses were more in broken English and I wasn't fully sure if he was just pulling my leg or not. A few more days past and its mostly him and me in the same area again. He wears lvl 48 armor, I forgot the name think its lizard stuff, but that's it. No rings, earrings, back, belt. I know some stuff gets left behind in moghouses so you can carry more stuff, but I believe he really wasn't joking and is a gil farmer.

If I get him to admit he is one in my chat log again should I report him or just say the heck with it because gil farming is rampant anyway?

I don't know if GMs can see the chat log of personal tells or not, but if you can get him to confess again, I'd call a GM. Potentially one less person ruining the game's economy.
