Here's a deleted scene from last season showing Carol laying it out to Merle he better be a good boy. I love what the show is doing with her this season.

Episode 4 was pretty good too, imo. Cannot decide if Carol is badass or just insane.

Negan's name was on the barn. I thought it was amusing. A little more so than the "redemption" thing going. I'm supposed to hate him, damnit.

Negan That got me excited in the pants. Then I thought about Glenn. Poor Glenn.

I noticed that, too. Have you read the novels Rise of The Governor and The Road to Woodbury? If you have, you'll be familiar with this episode, given that Walking Dead tv twist. Like when he pulls that family picture out. That's not how it is in the books. Ahh, it's making my head spin!

I read The Governor special, not sure if you mean that or the book that was recently released. Ol' Gov is creepy as all hell. A real villain.

Midseason wrap up and predictions:

Carol is out, but is innocent of the accusations due to covering for the two girls. Carol may have burned the bodies, but those girls are the guilty party. Also, apparently being sherrif in Georgia doesn't require any detective schools. Seriously Rick, what the **** man?

Tyreese, his daughter, and the alcoholic medic managed to make it to the next round despite being black in The Walking Dead, with Hershal taking Ty's place. I know I'm not the only one thinking it. Between T-Dog and the various temporary replacements the odds weren't in their favor. First he steals Dale's role, and now someone else's death. Selfish geezer. With Andrea gone (yay) what's her name will probably take her place. Hopefully doesn't get infected with her Andrea's television uselessness.

Michonne still rocks. Daryl is also rocking. Nice zombie shield.

Glenn got stuck on the bus. Hopefully it isn't headed to baseball practice.

Come on, we ALL knew the baby was doomed. Readers and Show Only people alike. I kind of figured it'd be done off screen, Carl's and Rick's reaction were pretty spot on.

They really tried to make The Gov a tragic villain. Am I the only one that still remembers his little black notebook of women's names that slowly turns into "PennyPennyPennyPenny"?

That's all that really immediately comes to mind. Good way to end for the next few months. Want to see more. Will the phone return? Will WolverShane make another appearance? If Lorei appears again will she find a way to crash another car in an otherwise completely empty road?

Fantastic episode. As brutal as it was, the TV version of the fall of the prison was somehow less brutal than the comic version. I kind of doubt TV Lillith is actually dead, but time will tell. I'm betting the psycho was one of the girls, Carol covered for them, & like in the comic Carl will end her.. Too bad we're going to have to deal with insane Rick again for a bit, though.

What a bloodbath. I expected some deaths but nothing on this scale. It's great that they are no longer living in the prison, though. Hershels death was very sad. One of my favourite characters on the show. Smiley: frown
