There's a necrobump down there somewhere, but it's been a long while and wasn't so active so I'll go ahead and get the ball rolling.

I don't believe I'll be able to go on the 20th. Don't get me wrong, I like Batman and the Nolan movies were pretty good, but not really up there for me. I've been trying to read two of the Batman books since the new 52, but I just don't feel myself drawn into that universe and I'm not really sure why. I think it might be something as trivial as the cape but that seems remarkably petty. Either way, anyone much more familiar with the character and DC universe in general going to see it opening weekend?

Me, just to see Bane break Bale's back. Which two books are you reading? I recommend Knightfall and No Man's Land, since DKR looks like it's based off those two stories.

I purchased a midnight ticket. I loved the first two, and this one looks just as epic.

If it wasn't for the fact that I think it'll be too packed to enjoy, I would. I'll probably go to the first showing the Wednesday morning after opening weekend, which should still have a fairly full showing, but at least I won't end up seated in the front right corner of the theater..

Wow, you've got an awesome writing style.! I really dig the narrator's back story, humor, sarcasm, and the plethora of pop culture references. Altogether a refreshingly different RotR journal (not that I don't like the more traditional ones, mind you).

I'm just reading the current self titled and Detective Comics. I'll check out Knightfall and No Man's Land when I get a chance.

Nolan's storyline is supposed to end with this movie, so I kind of doubt they'll do the backbreaker. I'll bet Bane will lift Bruce over his head and just before it happening Bats'll escape. Also, that was when XTREME Bats was introduced if I remember correctly, and I really don't want to see that.

I'm not going to the midnight show, but I'll see it sometime before the weekend is over. One of the only benefits of living in a college town is that the population (and therefore the potential movie going audience) drops by a huge percentage during the summer.

I'll be see it at the earliest show available on the 22nd. I would be there on the 19th but I have to work my Saturday on the rotation. Smiley: motz

Edit: For not being able to read a calendar.

Going to see it on the 20th hopefully. Got the missus into the first two films and she enjoyed them.

Looking forward to it. I shall post my thoughts after seeing it. Hoping Hathaway will pull Catwoman back from the brink of past incarnations.
