Trying to remember that movie title...Follow

So I'm updating my Netflix list and I'm remembering a movie that I once saw, but the title seems to elude me, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

The main focus of the movie is a video game. Similar method used in the Matrix, people play the game by "plugging in" and if you die in game, you die in reality. The game can be played in teams or alone, but the game can only be played for a specified time limit (I think it's 1 hour every 24? hours). The players of this game are also paid based on their performance. The movie focuses on a female lead, she is one of the top players of the game, but also plays solo. When she begins to close in on the end of the game, she is blackmailed/forced to join a team and clear the final levels.

...or something like that, more or less. The movie is older (1990s) and probably not an A-list movie.

Sounds like Avalon.

I've actually never watched it, I just have awesome google skills. I'm "renting" it right now since it sounds interesting. It should be delivered in about 20 minutes (like Dominos!)

Yup, that's the one. It was a pretty interesting movie, I'd probably say 3.5 / 5.

Thanks for the help... looks like I got a ways to go before my Google-Fu is complete.

Avalon is indeed the movie I was looking for. When I meant by saying "it is not an A-list movie" is that it wasn't produced with a $300 million budget, it didn't star Tom Hanks, and/or was relatively unknown to the public when it was released. Maybe I got the terminology wrong, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I watched it last night. It was ok, but I wasn't too impressed. Got pretty boring near the middle and a bit into the beginning when they just sat around talking to each other.

The ending was... meh.

They set it up for some sort of twist and then the guy just disappears in the end, Is this real? No, it was just more of the game after all. I think it would have been better if Class Real was actually real life. And the reason they didn't want you killing the neutral characters were because they were actual people out there, not ones playing the "game".

For how long the movie was, very little happened. A lot of silent staring going on. Scenes with no dialog, single character, just staring blankly at something.
