That's the thing though; Zeref was never sealed, he was just in hiding. And considering that he ran when Acnologia showed up at Fairy Tail's island, it was most likely due to Zeref being the only one that knows how to change Acnologia back to a human.

Actually, he was sealed, sort of. I think Ultear described him as being "asleep."

Yeah, she did. I'm actually of the mind that Acnologia and Zeref are two sides of the same being. Couldn't explain why right now though.

Early release is early. Smiley: mad

Felt like a dumb place to put a cliffhanger since we know who survives in the end for Naruto. And hey, we really are getting a little more exposition on Devil Fruits in One Piece. I'm okay with that. My bet is that nobody ends up eating the fruit, but Sanji would be the most obvious to do so.

Most likely the development of SAD has advanced beyond what Cesar was working on, and the factory is now capable of creating specific types. That, or DoFlamingo had a deal with Marshall D. Teach that would have him extract the essence from Trace's body.

In the chapter before that that one on pages 13 and 14 Zeref himself said that he thought no one was on the island, which I take to be a self-imposed exile instead of a seal. Also the fact that he tried to stop his powers from triggering immediately after running into Elfman and Evergreen means that the "being asleep" wasn't referencing a magical seal, but his conscious suppression of the darker parts of his personality.

Also it may look like Zeref had a hand in founding Fairy Tail, since he said "administered by the guild" and not "a guild"

Why do we discuss fairy tail in the bleach thread? Anyway I started and finished fairy tail over these past 3 days. It's pretty good when you treat it as a comedy with a plot and fights and ****. So many time travel shenanigans recently.

Same reason we discuss Naruto and One Piece here, we're to lazy to start new thread for each separate weekly Manga. That's my excuse at least (not that I read Fairy Tale yet, I plan on it sooner or later)

There's not enough traffic to merit 4 separate threads. Besides, they're all the same anyway.

Well, if we want to be picky about it, Fairy Tail is a King Comics and not a Shounen Jump series, and it comes out at a different time than the others as a result, so it should probably have its own thread,

I think we just lump them all together to avoid unnecessary forum clutter.

I don't think "the guild" vs "a guild" was a distinction in the original Japanese, if I remember my JP grammar properly. Articles don't work the same way. That's the translator's doing there.

It's actually fine that FT is in here, because I know that if this thread has traffic on Friday/the weekend, then it's for FT and I can ignore it. :D

I thought the main reason why we lumped them all here was to bump the thread when the Bleach chapter was stupid. And it just mutated from that.

I'd ask how you can't like Fairy Tail, but this whole time travel thing is becoming a pretty good reason.

At least they got rid of one of the Doppelgangers, who apparently had their right hand blown off.

I think the vision that Charle had early on in this arc, of Lucy singing/screaming as the castle collapsed around her, was her closing the gate as the Eclipse canon was preparing to fire. If that's the case, I wonder how/why she accidentally closed the gate while she was screaming? Maybe, since the Zodiac keys were used to open the Eclipse Gate, firing the canon would have killed the celestial spirits?

I went back and skimmed through the thread to figure out just why we turned to a more general thread, and it was when Bleach went on a three week break, and we were like "Nope, Naruto Piece Tail."

And to answer your questions: Yes, I was that bored.
