Sure it was going to be true, but I didn't expect it to be spot on.

I actually kind of like it. So many flashy pretty abilities, such odd powers from various shikai and bankai.. I find it to actually be kind of interesting to see something that isn't a massive spiked club, a giant sword, a gun, a magical bladestorm of doom, etc, to see something that is just a regularly shaped katana backed with amazing strength and speed is certainly a tad more bad-***(especially for now without the "Onoz I am scared of my hollow side/scaring my friends/ dying without beating the bad guy") but also kind of interesting and unique.. We can take the pokemon route with everyone elses Zanpakutou, it is interesting to see Ichigo remain relatively to the point.

So far, it looks like this fight is going to boil down to Ichigo curb-stomping Aizen, all while Aizen is wondering what the hell is going on.

At least, until he stops caring and goes One Winged Angel Butterfly on us.

I want Aizen to use more Kido; that might make it interesting. Anyway, Ichigo is currently too cocky for this fight to end in his favor.

Agreed, and agreed. A physical fighter vs a mage type (which is what Kido users always struck me as) would be pretty good. Unless it's all "MEGA POWERFUL SPELL CASTING OF DOOMY DARKNE- Did you just break my megaspell with one sword swipe?"

I wouldn't think Ichigo is arrogant. It boils down to facts, and fact is that Ichigo is currently stronger than Aizen. Aizen threatened his friends and Ichigo must now beat his ***** He strikes me as rather apathetic as it stands.

Overall this was a rather cool chapter, but it's too easy. If this was all it took to beat the villain that kicked just about every character's ***, yeah, well, we might as well continue reading Bleach with Ichigo as a main character in the position of Captain Commander...

I don't think he is really apathetic. He is just maintaining a relatively emotionless composure, to some extent taking satisfaction in the fact that the person who claimed to control his life is now shocked, scared, confused that things are not going exactly as he had planned. What had before for Aizen was a puppet and at worst an inconvenience is now unexpectedly putting a stop to his entire plan.

It always boils down to something like this in almost everything.
- I am Stronger than you.
- I am faster than you.
- I am smarter than you.
- My powers have a more hax ability than you.
- I have more people on my side than you.

Its boring because you continue to think about this pattern in most serious anime and manga.

I actually think it's boring specifically because it happens so often with Ichigo and Aizen. =/

Plot goes so slow that it'll probably start going backwards again.

That's a "cue flashback" prediction, just in case it was too subtle.

You have to admit, that first panel that we see Aizen's skull pushed out of his face was a pretty damn badass One Winged Angel.

It went downhill from there, yeah, but I still liked most of this chapter.

Oh that was pretty hilarious. So little of this makes any internal sense. However since the old laws of the universe has been so thoroughly discarded at this point, it does leave room to take the story in a completely different direction. That'd be nice, even though it won't happen. Ichigo could become a demigod now unable to connect with his previous friends and world--growing as a character for the first time ever--with the story shifting onto new protagonists while he becomes a sort of antihero sideline character. Of course that won't though, because it'd be interesting and clever.

This is why I read Bleach. Not for the plot. Not for the action.

I read for the asspulls.

I find it hilarious and I love it. I think Tite Kubo is just embracing the absurdity now and running with it, which is just fine with me.

I'd like Ichigo to decide that he doesn't want another Aizen incident, and rationalizes that him becoming a god and policing all sides of the equation is the only way to keep it from happening again. Fast forward several years to an apocalyptic wasteland and a new generation of (Insert new word for Shinigami/Human/Hollow hybrids) try to regain the world from his now iron fist rule. Not turn him into an antihero, or "I was being controlled by Blahblahblee" or anything. I want Ichigo to have a face-turn and be evil.

But what'll really happen is he'll have defeated Aizen, and his powers will "disappear" until the next Big Bad shows up and he has to train to regain his power again, but have some imposed limit to prevent him from using MuGenshou again until the very end, but THIS time it won't work/will work but won't drain him like last time so he'll be open for yet ANOTHER power upgrade when training with Goku.

Hm, did not quite expect that. Rather sick of the spontaneous rescues, but other than that a good chapter. Wonder how Bleach will end...

Worst possible ending? Besides the random gotcha conclusion and using Kisuke as a finisher as a form of fan **** since he's so popular, I think Kube did two very awful things. First, he had Aizen sealed, which leaves room for him to return--please no. Second, he seems to have taken a different turn with Ichigo's new power. From the previous ambiguous and terrible explanations it seemed that Ichigo lost his shinigami powers in exchange for this new power, that is that he rose above his old self. Now it seems like he may have lost it all, and we're going to have another eye twitchingly painful regaining-his-power arc.

Don't worry, he'll just run around the track for a few hours and then a cUntsman will arrow him 2 inches above the heart and he'll get his powers back.

My prediction is that the Hogyo-however the hell you spell it abandoned Aizen and allowed him to be sealed because it knew that Ichigo had beaten him. Thus, it'll choose Ichigo as it's new master ("Ichigo! I choose you!") and it's magical ***-pull properties will give him his powers back. Plus, there's no way Kubo's not using the final from of Ichigo's again. He'll find a way to get it back without drawbacks.

Plus, I don't think that Bleach is over yet. It's getting there, for sure, but there's still some stuff left to tie up, like what exactly the Soul King is, with his personal guard being the next chain of villains. Remember when they were talking about a, IIRC, 0th division?
