Yes, yes we should time to pick a new book. Ideas? I want to read the new Faerie Wars book by Herbie Brennan. Anyone interested in reading the first book?

I never heard of it, but the title just draws my attention. A lot.

It sounds good, amazon has it so that should work out too. I'm game.

At chapter 5 at the moment, but still waiting for me to get hooked.

Zomg for real!? Lol, I love these books, the whole mom thing got me right off the bat :)

Yes, that is true. Would want a explenation for the reasons for that (I think will be explained in later chapters).
And I would like to know how the characters will meet. Curious how the writer is going to pull that one off.

It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but I'm not hooked just yet.

I didn't come here to talk about the book, because I don't have time to read it, since my book list is so huge. But I was lurking on your myspace, and noticed you have a Birthday or had a Birthday recently. So... Happy (possible belated) Birthday Cami!!

A happy (be it belated) birthday Cami!
(or should it have been: a belated happy birthday? just noticed that it was put rather oddly)

I've got the book, going to try and read it soon, should be easy as I seem to have misplaced the new Barker and Joe Smith books I had waiting for me during the move, they'll appear one day when I finally get round to unpacking the books boxes. (meaning, took the time to reassemble my bookcases, could be some time though)

Getting further in the book now, slowly. Open minded at the moment, till I finish the book.

I've gotten offtrack recenly after a booksale, finishing of Traxas under siege first. Always enjoyed those and this one is more of the same.

Well, a bit late perhaps, but I have to admit that I've pretty much abandoned the book.

It really did not keep my attention at all, combined with a serious lack of time for books means I gave up on it.

I might try again at a later day, but I doubt it. Heh, I haven't even read the second part of the unnamed blade series, and of that series I actually fairly liked the first part.

Not sure if anyone else read the book?

Or if anyone is still interested in continuing the book club?

Sorry been gone a while, had some RL issues that needed attention. I do beleive I'm half way through the book now. Vacation time is now, I will pick it up again, and finish it within the next 2 weeks.

Any new additions to the book club readings are welcomed, as it will prefend me from re-reading my old books again.

Just found these forums and this thread :p

Could we perhaps have the first post modified to include the title and author of the book which is being digested at a given time? Perhaps we could have there a given period for the reading of a book, or set the future books so people have enough time to get them and read them? For example mentioning now in September one or 2 books to be read until 1st November, to be discussed after that date. As there will always be people who might want to talk about a book that others haven´t read, we could have a "Spoiler (insert book title)" at the beginning of a post discussing stuff that´s not general details.
