I thought you guys all quit reading so I stopped posting for a bit.

I guess it's time to finish the book then, even if at a faster pace than I should.

I planned an hour of reading time every day, just before I go to bed. So I'm flying through every book I'm reading :)

That's kind of what I'm doing, I read during my Study Hall when I should be doing my homework, (Reading hurts my grades because I love it so much now) and then i read from 10:30 to 12 Normally then I go to bed.

I'm done, after page 150 or so the reading wasn't that dry anymore. Maybe I got used to the way of writing.

Ok, go discuss the book in a thread now so we can pick the next one :P I haven't been able to get into The Sword of Shannara /sigh I feel like I've read it before and maybe didn't like it, I just dunno.

Ok, I guess no need to discuss this one. What you guys think of "Book with no name"? Seems interesting to me.
#190 Jan 05 2008 at 6:47 AM Rating: Good
Yeah, not sure how many are interested in discussing the book. Still, we could give it a go?

"Book with no name" I read and disliked. It's basically Sin City book style, not all bad but a bit silly.
#191 Jan 05 2008 at 8:53 AM Rating: Good
I think we should read The Last Templar because it's sitting in my room and hasn't been read yet.
#192 Jan 05 2008 at 11:08 AM Rating: Excellent
Hey Blood, tired of the old name?

But not very much Sci-fi/Fantasy if you ask me, but I don't mind. I like those history/thriller novels.

Bump to ask: new book?

I'll suggest "The first law: book one. The Blade itself" by Joe Abercrombie. Haven't fully read it myself but it is a very interesting read so far.

Sounds good to me. Is the series finished? I really hate to wait for books to come out. I like to finish it right away.
#196 Jan 13 2008 at 7:29 AM Rating: Decent
I think part three of the series is going to be released in march this year.
(forgot to add: and it seems to be the last part too, not always easy to say ofcourse)

Well, got sidetracked by the new Stephen King (which surprisingly enough is quite good, at least so far, about 400 pages in), but I should be finishing the first part of the first law fairly soon.

For those still interested in talking about "Children of Hurin", the thread is there.
