Yeah unless I absolutely hated it the first time I will read most things multiple times. Maybe pick your favorite book you already have to see what we think of it etc.

Works for me, what's your pick GieG?
And that is "Drakenvrouwe", it's on my "to read" pile, not very high on it and as they finally shipped "Sandworms of Dune" it might sink a bit.
I read the first Dune book a long long time ago, I've got the rest I just haven't picked them up yet, I'll eventually need to do that I guess. So any of those would be great :)

Thats what I asked :P
Oh,is the final book from Dune released? Please, please, please.... That would be my pick :) Or maybe Children of Hurin, but don't know if Brill finished that one.
Cami will find it hard to catch up on book 8 of Dune though
Besides, my hopes are truly low for that one, although book 7 was a lot better than the dreadful "Legends of Dune" trilogy, it still wasn't exactly all that likeable.
When does it get published in Dutch? Do you know that? Sorry it's 2am, to lazy to google for it atm :P
No idea I'm afraid, the Jagers van Duin is out, that's all I can find at this time (just got home myself, and not a lot of decent Dutch book sites to find info like that, bol.com knows it not as yet, a couple of months is usual I believe)
Already have it, so it's ok with me, but would like to finish the Silmarillion again, before I start in Children of Hurin. But if we all agree that's no problem.
It's readable without the Silmarillion, right Brill?
Sorry, I had some RL sh*t to handle last 2 weeks, so I didn't had to much time to check the site. Seems to be stable at the moment, and have even more free time now, so Children of Hurin sounds good to me.
