The SciFi airing of last years Dr. Who episodes begins in the states next Friday.

The episodes are good, some are quite excellent even. (especially the double episode about the space station on an asteroid, won't tell more but that one is truly great)

And a fairly good final. Definitely worth watching them!

The Christmas special is looking particularly good this year, unlike last year when Tennant first appeared, almost made me not want to see season 2.

I like Tennant as Dr Who, he's kinda crazy, but I really am looking forward to the Chritmas special again.

Last Friday I saw watched the new to USer's second episode of the season. It was good as only Dr. Who can be.

I loved the introduction, explanation and dilema of hooking up with one of the Doctor's old babes. In this story though, a high school was infiltrated by aliens disguised as humans. Last year's season there was a two-parter where a city's local government, Chicago maybe(??), was taken over by aliens disguised as humans. Seems a bit redundant.

I also liked last years actor playing Dr. Who better than this years, but that's only because of personal preference.

AND, I missed the first show that aired not last Friday but the one before. I have no way of recording it. Anyone see it? care to fill us in....

While I find that Tennant isn't bad, I certainly preferred Eggleston. I've heard that Rose leaves after the current season showing in the US, so I likely will stop watching it.

True, she's out of the series after two seasons. She lasted longer than Ecclestone, who never did really give that good a reason for only doing one season but Tennant does it really well too imo.

Quite looking forward to season three myself (Christmas special first, with Catherine Tate, should be fun!), although I enjoyed Rose most of the episodes, she became too much of a center of the show, and constantly dragging her family in so many episodes grew boring.
