I think the reason i still enjoy it is because of my work schedule, during the summer it allows for almost zero play time. So, when i get to play come fall/winter, so much has changed its like starting an all new game with a lvl75 jumpstart. Besides, i've been playing since the begining so this (aka the retirement forum) is filled with the people i used to play with, so i dont feel so outcast. I'm fairly certain that if i played this as much as i did in college, i would have quit years ago.

I have little doubt that if I had a reliable internet connection I could be occasionally sucked into going and leveling yet another mid-level job that I will quickly grow bored of only to "log out for the last time" again.

I also still play, have BRD and BST at 75 and currently leveling DRK (mainly so I have an excuse to spam retarded WS macros). :)
Not sure why, but the game hasn't gotten old yet, 4 years and counting. Most of the LS have been playing since beta so I'm a relative newbie by comparison.

yeah, i've been playing again for a while now. All I do is lvl sync with my mule. I hit 75 on NIN doing this, and now am gonna work on some dagger and h2h merits so i can lvl DNC and MNK... i may have to create more mules to lvl sync with, though XD

Must admit I thought of doing a bit of Sky recently - maybe we should just head up there at an off time and farm up a few pop items.

I don't think I have really mass posted anywhere since I stopped working a desk job 4 or so years ago. The exception being late last year when I was on light duty with an injury and stuck at the desk.
Now I just play PS3 and watch anime all day while collecting unemployment. I'm such a bum. I suppose it's about time I get back to work though. There probably is a limit to how much I can leach off of taxpayers.
So how are all you good folks doing?

Yeah, I'm right there with ya. Ever since I left my sh*t job in July '06, I haven't really picked back up on any forums either.
Bad jobs are the only reason to spam forums regularly.
