I am really out of touch with society, so let me ask, is it just sock and flip flops that aren't allowed or socks with any combination of sandal type?

Yes, I Shadar, do admit to still playing FFXI. I am currently leveling up Pld, but still only level 14. I plan to take all jobs up to at least 37 just so I can sub them on my lolgalkawhm!

i stopped playing...what..a year and a half ago...or two and a half years? i remember it being early in the year.

hmm..according to FFXIAH.com last thing i bought was Dec. 31, 2006...so yeah, a year and a half.

I had the craziest dream the other night about FFXI, and I woke and was like: "That was hella random". So of course I made a sock to say hello. =)

What the hell have you people been up too in game and IRL? (not you coot, we all know you're mixing games and strippers)
