No, its because of the sam armor event, assloads of levels 1s dying.

The 3 starting areas are always controlled by their associated nation by default. All I can say is either someone/group deliberately sabotaged it, or something went horribly wrong. I'm going to change to Windy sometime soon. Besides, I could do with another 300k gil or so. :p
