I agree on both counts.

I'd actually say it looks like there are 3 people worthy of this board in that party, not just him. Yes, what he said made him look like a jerk and a rude player. I will probably avoid him for that alone. However, you and Valnix were also jerks by initiating all of that without trying to explain to him nicely what went wrong so that he could avoid doing it again. Maybe he didn't understand earlier when you told him not to cast - could have thought it was a temporary thing, for all I know.

Either way, calling someone a dumbass because they make a mistake is rude. Calling him a "gimp ass Dark Knight" and telling him to leave the party is unnecessary and unprovoked. From the screenshots you gave us, he didn't deserve either of those two comments at that point (though I agree he probably deserved them later XD). Unless he had been rude to you all before that incident, I'd say all 3 of you are at fault here.

I'm not saying he was justified in being a noob, all I was saying is that there were better ways of handling the situation than to resort to name calling, and thus I don't think he was solely at fault in the screenshots you posted.

Now, if he was being rude prior to that (when he alledgedly aggro'd the ele the first time), then I'd take that back and say that you were probably right in calling him a dumbass if you tried to help him and he continued to be ignorant.

But ya, maybe it's just me but I based on the screenshots you posted, you don't really make him look like the only jerk...

I am selling my minivan. Was supposed to have done it last year, when I bought TehBunnyMobile, but had a friend move here from another state and let him drive it, til he decided Florida > Michigan and moved back home.

Especially the ones that wear the checkered hats with ear flaps...in the middle of august!

My dad plays counterstrike and halflife, and more recently invested in an xbox and gamecube. And um... thankfully never wore those embarassing types of clothing (or lack thereof) anywhere that I ever had to see him :P

Well let's just say, my dad set her up on MSN to keep in touch with me while I'm in Japan (he's cheap and doesn't like paying for her phone bills). She now types out full emails in the chat window, and can't figure out why I respond right away...

Had a bad feeling when he sent me a blind invite so I ignored it at first. After a few minutes he sent another blind invite and a few seconds later a /t. During the fight of the 3rd mob we faced it turned out the thf had pulled something a bit to high for us and things went badly. Paladin was a champ but eventually died and the whm shortly followed. After dying speedie hp'd and disbanded, ditching the party and people still desperately fighting on. At first I thought maybe speedie hp'd since he'd neglected to cast rr and would come back. When the loser disbanded though, his real intentions were clear.

The thf from that pt formed another ~15min or so later and invited the pld and myself back in together :). That was a fine pld, Newrose I think his name was. The whm we got only stayed a bit over an hour before she had to go (nice lady that did a fine job of whm-ing). She gave lots of notice that she would be going but didn't use auto-trans so I'm not sure the leader understood she'd be leaving and never got a replacement (or maybe none were available). About the time she was due to leave the blm dc'd. A nice guy (the blm) and good backup healer...but not the brightest bulb in the store. When he learns to MB, not nuke before sata is finished, and not over nuke so much he will be a fine member of the blm community.

Some of you may have had a good experience pt'ing with this certain WHM (and her NIN friend) but I didn't have that experience with her unfortunately. Not once in my FFXI experience have I experienced this. The WHM's name is Tink.

It was a pt in Quicksands Cave and all was going well. To cut a long story short, the NIN disbanded. After a beetle was pulled and incoming to camp, the WHM decides that she had to go so disbanded without any prior warning. So there were the 4 of us (no mages) and 1 angry beetle which we had to zone. Running round the corner to zone, we spot the WHM & NIN in pt and was probably gonna tele.

Point is, I don't mind if people disband mid pt due to unforseen circumstances (heck I've had situations where I had to either AFK for about 15mins and I'd ask the pt if I should disband so they can get a new member or I stay on and we take a 15min break) but for god's sake, please just give a warning of your intentions and don't just disband pt after you see that there is an incoming mob -.-;....at least wait till we kill the mob before disbanding. To me, thats just plain inconsiderate towards other players.

I'm not ranting on about her skill as WHM, but more on her personality which I didn't like.

Apollyon = worst PLD ever! I've partied with the dude a few times, all as my BLU. I think he's like six different people, or just has a lot of problems. First party with him he was a prick at first, but then I think one of his other personalities took over and he became a good guy. The next few parties I was in with him, he seemed like a completely different dude. He would constantly go afk, DURING A FIGHT, and then say "Oh sorry I said afk in LS". That was believable at first, but he kept saying it, and then he used the same excuse in subsequent parties.

The last party I was in with him he was effing slacking again, probably tending to his disorder or something, so i told him to do his job. He wasn't holding hate worth sh*t and he would go afk during battle, but his response was "you guys aren't dead, so I'm doing my job". Righttt, well after that we thought peace was established and pulled another mob. He then sat down from the get go, to like screw us over or something. After we easily won without him, he demanded leader to boot me, and since leader didn't give it to him, he peaced out.

Long ass rant and the such, but I just don't like this dude. He seems like such a prick, and he's a pretty crappy PLD to boot. If you post here dude, sorry if this offends you but, step up. Jeeze.
