yea rayel is awesome. he was in FB with us, and one day he decided he was gonna get 75 (he was bout 40 or 50 at the time). we watched him get 75 quicker than anyone ever! rayel is the balls tho, cause no matter what he is doing, he always id down to help someone out, which is what being a good player is really all about

Kitta - one of the best WHMs I have ever partied with, who builds kick ass parties and I've semi-staticed with for a few levels (we will seek each other out if we're both on together). Doesn't have to be asked for silena, paralyna or anything - and is brilliant fun to party with... dunno how I forgot you before when I listed people - sorry!

Within 10 minutes, almost everytime I log in Joelthewanderer /tell me "Yo" or "Watcha doin?" Then I would respond that would be just about it. He is one of the coolest players I know. He has a great attitude, compliments his party members were needed, and most of all plays his job.

Joelthewanderer is on my /whitelist.

I'd like to add Mitsuko to this list. She was my party's WHM last night in Yhoator, and she was such a trooper. We were killing mandies and goblins (2 NIN party), and she ran up to us and tried to cast Barfira, but hit the wrong macro and used Curaga. We couldn't get the hate off her and she died, MNK 100 Fisted and we ended up pulling through. She gets raised by a passing RDM and we continue on. Somewhere in the midst of things we had a goblin link. We managed to kill the first one easy because we all had TP for weaponskills, but the second was kicking our ass, and both the Mitsuko and the BLM were out of MP. Mitsuko uses Benediction, and of course dies soon after, but everyone else in the party lives and we defeat the goblin. Another passing RDM gives her a raise and we continue on. We were killing a mandy, when a goblin popped behind Mitsuko and killed her again. (We were there over 3 hours and that was the first and only goblin pop in camp that entire time.) This goblin also ate our BLM, and RNG, and I Mijin Gakure'd it, while the MNK and other NIN finished it off. The other NIN ran back to Kazham, changed to RDM, came back and Chainspell raised us. After he switched back to NIN and came back we continued on for another hour, and eventually Mitsuko finally leveled up.

I gave her many /praise and called her {Impossible to gauge} {White Mage} for sticking with us and especially using Benediction to save us. She's a great WHM, and you'd be lucky to have her in your party.

i think taint should make a mule named gooch. hahaha.

Obviously my time in FFXI has been done and overwith for a long while, however, memories of the great people on this server...that I will never forget.

LMFAOOOOO Earl... OMG he sucked so bad in the one party I had with him - kept going AFK without telling people mid fight - at one point the reason he gave was that he was spinning on his computer chair and fell off.

Beanie a 73 MNK. She helped me with my AF4 for about 10 hours at least. She was very nice and I would have never gotten it done without her. Thank you so much =)

Alanna- 18 THF (Spends ALL her time crafting >.<)

Bluetyphoon- 60 PLD (One of our many PLDs, good friend)

Bumpy- 50 WHM (Has been in LS forever.... levels slowly)

Dangel- 45 DRG (I usually dont like Dragoons, but Dangel is one of the few good ones)

Delphiggy- 55 PLD (Good PLD)

Dragonia- 50 THF, 40 RNG (Great THF and RNG, has come to lots of BCNMs)

Med- 59 WHM (Vermillion's cloak... I want one ; ;)

Noluenn- 50 DRK (Engaged to her!, good dark with 2 sniper rings)

Nusair- 59 WAR (Always ready to help the LS with anything, and best WAR i've ever seen)

Orcko- 46 WHM (Good WHM and LONG ass time LS member, very cool)

Pictor- 71 PLD (Great PLD and high lvl Chef that makes sushi for LS members providing ingrediants- Also a Pimp!)

Ronburgundy- 56 PLD (Wants to be lvl 75 MNK, DRK, RNG, BLM, SAM, DRG)

Shiipo- 53 BRD (New to the LS!)

Xinita- 50 THF (Best THF i've ever partied with; amazing equipment)

I've played with so many people whom I would consider 'great' players. Too many to list. None really stand out above the others, except for my friends...you know who you are. Seeing you online daily keeps me in the game, and working toward my goal to hit 75. Then I can finally quit this god-forsaken piece of $#!% game.^^ I will forever hate SE for making FFXI an mmorpg.

I nominate orreo as the weirdest taru in all of vanadiel along with meltingdoll, you guys are sick =D

Orreo at least i have reasons, half the people posted on here just put a name without a reason... why dont you rate them down too?
And thats not really reasons what I have posted, just commentary on the person.
I mean look at you, you posted Grunion, but why? Just cause grunion is your friend... you posted no reason as to why Grunion was on here and now if you read this you would try to back it up saying how good a player he/she is~ btw i've never talked or had any experiences with grunion so i'm not saying he/she shouldn't be on this thread.

Guess I shouldn't take it personally, just figured I would've impacted somebody's life somewhere... course I also do a lot of stuff on my own and don't always help people do stuff I did solo so mebe I don't help enough oh well.

Salsachip - tarutaru PLD with the heart of a Galka. I never have to think twice about throwing out a CuragaII mid-battle and my RNG goes relatively unscathed. One of the smartest MP users I've seen, and given his naturally low HP and VIT he still takes less damage and uses less of my MP than any other PLD I've met. <3 chippy =)

Jailbait - very competent RDM, good gear, good use of macro equip-swapping. Very smooth and a machine-like xper.

Haha, I'd say not. I'd be lying if I said I didn't come on here after a weekend of great party after party, hoping to eventually see my name in here, but hey, everyone has a little bit of vanity in them!

Hmm, I suppose I should post on here, of those people I can remember. I'll try to stay off the bandwagon of reading off my Friends List of people that I just like and became friends because they did a good job.

Giacorleone(WHM) - Partying with you night after night, through the tougher areas where status ailments were abundant, you kept me free to do my job, and didn't leave me rooted to the ground in a block of stone staring at the mob. Not to mention we have had way too much fun in parties.^^

Ayume - I stopped talking with her a bit back, but I can always remember her always lending anybody a hand from my old linkshell when she was asked. I even recieved my own fair share of help and it always pained me not to be able to pitch my hand into anything she needed help with, being so high above me in level.

Jailbait - Only partied with you a few times, but your one of the Red Mages who I can definately remember, kept up on Dispel, Refresh, and did your job like a pro.

Zildjian(Shoes as well on most) - I've known you for a long time, and no matter how far ahead in the game you are, you've always stopped to help me out when I needed it, you've helped me with more than I could have ever asked for and you did it all so willingly.

Vizion and Whren - Two more White Mages that definately stand out over my Paladin career in being able to put my health back where it belongs when it comes to status ailments. Not to mention Whren offered to help me with my WHM AF3 when I was still playing Goken without even knowing me.

Jameson - Another person who will help you out if you just ask him, a good guy that I've known for awhile, but will help just about anybody, and die in the process without a word of complaint.

Xantcha - A very good friend who has been one of the reasons I've stayed in the game at all, I can't actually say if she plays her job well, but she's a very friends person who gets along with just about everyone and has helped me so much since I started Salsa.

I ended up putting people that were on my friends list for half of this but people that really have gone the extra mile or do well with their job in my opinion. I know I'm forgetting a lot of people and I think I will have to come back to edit this post a few times once I can remember the names. It's always good to let somebody know that their hard work is being appreciated by somebody out there.

I second that; Beanie's awesome. Aside from being kind and helpful, she's an incredibly competent player, fun to party with, and a great inspiration to me as a MNK.

Other than that...um, I guess I'm not supposed to list my friends or people from my linkshell, but those are the only people I know who are great players. I don't get out much. XD
