Hey Leviathan, I just started on this server. I noticed that this forum is pretty dead so I don't expect any replies but I decided to give it a go anyway.
I'm not in a LS and I have a 8 BLM Taru at the moment. I plan to take him to 20, unlock my subjob, then go with WHM. I would love to join either a normal LS or maybe even an RP LS. I'd like to find one with people usually on, ones that are friendly of course. =P

Keep at it. Keep in mind finding parties before 20 is harder because of FoV, alot of people just solo the early levels and start partying in Qufim at 20, but I still see a party or two usually in the dunes. Good luck!

Ugh, it's just so depressing waiting for an invite that will never come. I usually will just sit there waiting for an invite and browsing the web until I finally give up. =/
I would do pages from FoV while lfp, it will make the time go by faster and you are getting somewhere, better than doing nothing. It will pick up a bit when you hit 20 but most BLM solo anyway. In fact there's a solo guide for BLM on that job forum. If you are switching to WHM parties will come faster.

Yeah, that's a possibility but it's so unproductive. I don't know if that's abnormal for a BLM but I guess it's something to do. =/

I get on my sisters character from time to time and I notice there aren't alot of people in lower level parties. There should be people in the LS who can party up with you via level sync. Ask my sister when she's on, she's able to move mountains, lol.
I got on at about 1:30PM (PST) and took all the necessary actions to get a party and after one and a half hours of nothing, I logged. I got on again at about 6:00PM and eventually one of the LS members started a party for us in Valkurm. I got 2 levels and then he decided to stop for bed or to take a break (He was chatting in the LS when I logged). That was good so I hope I can find a group tomorrow now that I'm 15.

That's awesome! My sister text me and said she heard I had got you into the LS somehow. I told her I posted on Alla, lol. So I guess she was on yesterday and you got to meet her. You'll like her, she's a good LS leader and pretty upbeat and full of energy. She keeps it positive for sure!
They'll do LS parties for people who need them. I think my sister had school last night so I doubt she was in the party with you, but she'll totally help out if she's on. Ask her to power level yoru party, she has a 75 Red Mage.

I didn't get to chat with her much. At first she was chatting with me, for a couple minutes, but then started chatting with everyone else. From my experience earlier this morning, a lot of people did the same thing to me...kinda ignored me or were more interested in chatting with others. It's no big deal, I'm new to the LS but it was a little disappointing.
If it takes too long for me to get a group then I usually logout. If I'm at home then my computer is on, which means all my instant messenger programs are on too. So if I could make a friend in the LS that plays often that could contact me to offer me an invite then that'd be awesome but I don't foresee that happening.
Anyways...don't take all of this as b*tching and whining, I just have trouble getting my hopes up when I start to see a trend. lol

AH, yeah, my sister is the little social butterfly. She talks to everyone in the LS. She won't ignore you on purpose. You'll notice people are like "Shao this" or "Shao that" and she tries to respond to everyone, but I'm sure she misses things sometimes. Again, she won't ignore you on purpose adn she really tries to engage everyone from what I used to see and talks I have with her about the LS.
Once you get through the Dunes, things will get easier. Keep trying to form your own parties and see if anyone in the LS wants to party in the dunes. I'll let me sister know you want to get through it ASAP. ^^

Thanks, I appreciate it. I went through some drama in the LS last night. I was venting a little bit about my troubles in LS Chat. I was getting a lot of "get used to it", "go play wow", and etc. so I was a bit irritated at these responses. Long story short, most things have been worked out but a few people probably hate me for venting. =P
One of the problems was that I wasn't getting any help from the LS. They would say "we can't help you get a party". It was kinda disappointing since you made it sound like LS members would sync up with me when they really don't care to. There are still a lot of members in the LS that don't give a crap about us newbies but because of all this drama from last night, a handful are going to take more notice and maybe even some action.
