I just returned to FFXI after a 4-year hiatus. I played as a RDM / NIN years ago, and quit due to lifestyle changes. I now have a torn ACL(due to a skiing accident), and needed a solid RPG to get into over the next year. I started a THF, and what a different class to learn compared to RDM! I started Saturday, and am about to start leveling my first SJ for THF.
Reason for posting this is that I am looking for a good linkshell with helpful members to not only become game friends with, but to assist with some of the upcoming missions I’ll be repeating. I’m a mature 24 year old gamer, looking to associate with a good group of mature players. I just remember being the RDM, helping my lower levels out in my past linkshell, when it came to missions(rank #3 comes to mind with the dragon), and just helping each other out in general. LS is needed, or was – years ago. So, if anyone reading this knows of a place where I may be a great fit…send me a tell, or a message. Thank you for checking out my post…

People are always welcomed in our LS. The LS is called Imagine. Shaolin is the leader and she just asks new members be nice, friendly, helpful and no cussing. If you can follow those difficult rules, you're free to join.
To get a pearl, ask Shaolin, Domone, Frag, Shurtugal, Sakiri, Feliciask, Minimorn, Turtlesghost, Ivantr, Eazy, Katra, Mickoftime, Jaydee, Rouroni, or Hefty. Tell them you're looking for a LS and were recommended to join Imagine and they'll help ya out. :o)

Or you can just cuss out loud and don't have to spend the time typing it. Shao's LS works pretty well, ask around and get some opinions on it. =P
The censor is still a viable option. I have asked around though. Considering how massive the LS is you really don't take new members. I should know i've been trying to get a pearl for a year now lol.

We still get new members. Ask one of the pearlsack holders and they'll get you one. What's your name in game? When I see Shao on, I'll let her know you're looking to join and she'll contact you.

Hello I have also coming back to FF and am getting a fresh start I would like to get a LS so I can start to get to know people on my server. As for the rules those are easy enough for me to follow.

Hey guys... back again. I managed to find a social/casual LS a month or so back, but I've found i'm in need of a LS more geared towards events, missions, assaults. I've had an Imagine pearl for a while now, and theyre a good ls. but, I dont use it that often because i use another social ls more. what i really want to know is, does Imagine have a website/forum? that would be really nice.
as far as a specific ls for event/mission/assault, I'm not sure. i think your best bet would be to get into a social ls and ask around. If you joined a big ls like imagine, i bet you could get something going since there's a wide range of players in there.

EnlightenedSouls been around quite a while and welcomes returning/new players.
Were not heavily event oriented, but people help out when they have time with things needed. I was coordinating alot of the events but i've been busy RL lately so haven't had time.
Many members, many 75's. Quite a good spread on levels. So always someone to talk to usually many people play varying hours.

Much in the same boat, coming back after a year and a half and looking to find a new ls. Really helpful when im on and always game to go out and help others. Personally lookin to get some missions done such as finishing up CoP and Sandy rank 9 stuff. That and getting a gatebreach group... i warped before opening a different cavernous maw so im stuck trying to get back to the one outside of garlaige >< Anyways if anyone sees me on and wants a former good rdm for their ls hit me up

join synbios, we're a smaller social ls but we're very tight. got plenty of newer people who need lowbie missions, nations and promyvions. we have people specialised in crag runs etc. always someone on during NA/JP/EU time. we're all people in our 20's with a couple of exceptions and we all have an unique sense of humor (sarcasm), got people who just recently started and also a couple of helpful veteran players.
my own experience in ls's is that the bigger the ls, the more of a popularity contest it gets and the less you get done (specially if you're a beginning player)
